25.01.2022 The Wright Theatre School is shutting down Saturday Sing! Dance! Act! Classes for the rest of Term 3. Monday Drama Club and Scene Study will Continue for now. Apologies, I hate to disappoint, and we miss you all, but too many problems with Coaches, CoViD Restrictions, Border Issues, Health Issues, and everything else, has made it just too difficult to continue this Term. Shannon will be performing as Adam Webster, a down on his luck New York writer, the Lead in "The Psychi...c" at Spotlight Theatre in Benowa, September 11-27th, and hopes you can all come to see the show. 10.01.2022 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of our kindest, most talented coaches and friends, Kristall Walcott! This awesome woman was the first dance teacher we ever interviewed for The Wright Theatre School and we could have ended our search right there! At least 30 applicants submitted resumes. We narrowed it down to about 15 interviews. Kristall came in with her great big smile, her Can-Do attitude, and we were won over instantly! She even got down to demonstrate some breakdancing in the middle of the cafe! Not a requirement, but boy does she know how to make a long lasting, positive impression! For all those who know and love Kristall, we encourage you to shower this post with love! Hopefully well be able to all see each other again in person soon!

08.01.2022 It is with great Frustration and Sadness that we must cancel Saturday Classes this week. :( In an unfortunate turn of events, one of our coaches has worked (just during this week, so no risk of infection for any of us) at Parklands Christian College. Due to the selfishness of the two women who brought CoViD-19 back from Melbourne, that school has had to be shut down and anyone who has been in the building since must be quarantined. Our coach should be fine, she is healthy ...and showing no symptoms. She has been tested and now must wait in quarantine until results are established. We hope you are all safe and healthy, and Classes should resume next week. Sorry for the inconvenience, this is not what we were hoping for either. :(

Prior to Covid we had purchased a bunch of new and awesome costumes for our Napoleon Dynamite dance and all the Addams Family Spooktacular! But never fear! We will get to see them all eventually! 05.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL PARENTS AND GUARDIANS! We are back on Saturdays! 10am-1pm at Elanora State School and Oxenford Coomera Community Youth Centre at 2:30pm-5:30pm! CoViD Rules will apply, so try to be there early for sign ins, maintain distancing outside, Parents are not allowed into the premises. Students will go directly to their first class (with their Coach) and will stay with their group through the day, eating lunch after second class. First day back will be low pressure, so have fun! We will also have a Showcase this term!
