20.01.2022 When I was 12 I received a copy of the book EveryGirl from my Mother. In a time before the internet, that was about the only education I received on menstruation, s e x and boys. Each time something happened throughout my early teenage years I referred back to this book. Too embarrassed to ask my friends or my mama. Hoping to find the answers. If it wasn’t there it was straight to Dolly magazine.... For me, none of it felt right though. Deep down I knew there was more to it. I knew there there was another way. But I let that go and accepted what was. And now all these years later I hope to inspire and guide Womxn of all ages to explore their curiosities openly. Without fear. Or shame. There are so many wonderful books now as reference, and story, for Maidens and their Mamas to explore what it means, and looks like, to be a Womxn. 03.01.2022 *Sneak Peak at one of the beautiful products for the Maiden MoonTime Ritual Basket* Do you remember what those menstrual cramps and aches were like? The changes to your body? Wondering what was happening? I knew about my monthly bleed. How long it would possibly last. And how to use disposable pads. But I had no idea of the cramping and discomfort that I would feel each month.... I remember having to take monthly pain relief, days off school, and eventually going on the pill to help ease the pain I felt. Even then, I still needed my trusty old hot water bottle to sooth these aches. I have created these lush Womb Warmers, filled with the delicious scent of lavender, using hand dyed fabric to add to the Ritual baskets. These Womb Warmers, and others just like it, provide the heat to sooth the aches and the weight to provide comfort. Supporting their needs as they transition into Womxnhood.
