I graduated from BIBA Academy last year and would love to eventually go back and do my barbering! I have battled with dyslexia since I was young, always being told that I wasn’t good enough or that I couldn’t achieve my dreams, all because I couldn’t read or spell like others. Finding out I was cleaver in different ways, a visual learner, and that I process things differently I was always seen as a challenge to some. Many of my teachers loved it as I was always an experime...nt to find a different way to teach something. Others not so much but all I can say to them is ‘look at me now’! I found that hairdressing has never been more challenging, but I love it as I can create amazing styles and colours all with my creative side and visual outlook. I was always supported by my parents and family, and I am forever grateful for that!
