19.01.2022 June 26th is the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. We would like to take this opportunity, following the example of Israeli activists (http://...www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA4q1pU957c), and give the number ‘269’ a symbolic value also here in the Czech Republic. A few volunteers will be publicly branded by hot iron in the shape of number 269, expressing their solidarity with all living beings, degraded to mere numbers. These living creatures are victims of violence and torture on a daily basis - behind the walls of factory farms massively producing ‘livestock’, laboratories, breeding houses, fur farms, ZOOs and many other places, where the basic rights of these sentient beings are being absolutely denied.
