13.01.2022 http://MEN WHO SWIM// . . . Meet Yasser, Mexican-born and architect for 14 years. Now a Chef here in Melbourne!... Thank you Yasser for allowing me to share this amazing message you sent me about your first swim after 7 months. True courage!! Gracias my friend! It was so hard! but at the same time very emotional (my body reacted when I went in to the pool, and I had a mix of emotions, it is difficult to explain, but it was great!). After the first 400mts my muscles memory went back and it was easier to swim! Thanks a lot for your support! I also love your passion and care for swimming and the experience of it! you must be very proud! I felt emotional reading about your swimming experience and kind words. Well done!

11.01.2022 Wow have never seen lightening strike the water before - a good reason to stay clear of all open water in lightening and thunderstorms.

02.01.2022 Did you know that the colours and patterns on seashells are not random? They are as unique to the creatures that made them as fingerprints are to humans. Shells help mollusks to move undetected by predators and its thickness can act as armour. Its shape can even act as an anchor or prevent it from sinking in the sand. As Melbourne emerges out of an extremely tough and extended lockdown, know that it’s okay if you still want to stay in your protective shell a bit longer. It’s ...okay if you feel nervous about being amongst crowds. It’s okay if you need time to process. It’s okay if you feel a little overwhelmed at sensory overload outside after finding your own iso-rhythm for 112 days. However when you are ready to emerge from your shell, know that the anchors of life, whether that’s your faith, relationships, supportive mentors, and for me, even the sight of the beautiful healing ocean, will be waiting patiently.
