25.01.2022 Good morning family. This pretty much sums up our 4 night trip away with friends up to Koondrook. No reception = no news = no negativity = no fear! Just sunshine, laughter, one giant , good stories, kids with no screens, adults with no screens, good food, good tunes. Just pure bliss! My phone had a dead battery for the whole trip away. I had the ability thanks to Rams to charge her from Mrs Chow but I just didn’t want to. It was so refreshing not to hear anything about any...thing and just be. So I leave you with this one pic that Rams took of Daisy and we just love it! Not a care in the world. Xoxoxoxooxox Love to every one of you beautiful souls!!!! Our feet are itching, no fungal infection here... , just the itchiness of travelling on!!!! Yahoooooo! Xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

18.01.2022 Today was Daisy’s 4 birthday! This is her 3rd birthday living the Gypsy life! Lucky for her, we were with family to celebrate it with! Her favourite quote the past two days of celebrations has been I love it so much! This chicky babe is one of the most grateful little chookys around! She makes us laugh everyday! Love to you all! Hope you are all having a great night xoxo

17.01.2022 Hi guys! As you know... Victoria’s restrictions have eased.... so what did we do...? We got in the car, van in tow and are heading wherever the hell we like... in Victoria that is... well excluding Melbourne. We are feeling like Daisy, sugar drunk with excitement!

17.01.2022 Hi Family! It’s been quite awhile since we posted something. It’s weird times at the moment. Which I don’t want to even discuss..... it’s on all of our minds enough. So with another lockdown looking like it was on the cards. (And unfortunately it happened!) Rams and I thought bugger it, let’s get in the van and find some sun! We headed off and got as far as the border would allow us and ended up in Echuca. We rang my parents and said get the bloody hell up here! So they did... and we travelled along the border trying to get as close north as we possibly could. We could see NSW! We spent nearly two weeks away exploring Echuca, Mildura, The Grampians, Port fairy and Warrnambool and all places in between. Of course being as careful as possible. With the new restrictions in place we had to come back. But we feel so very lucky to have gone away and roasted marshmallows on open camp fires, nights in the bush talking a lot of shit with my beautiful parents. It was brilliant. Sending a lot of love out to you all. Xoxox See more

15.01.2022 Yes... it’s us....

11.01.2022 SOMETHING TO PONDER: An observation by George Carlin: The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, b...ut narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent. Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away. George Carlin (Picture of him and his 1st wife of 35 years who passed in 1997)

04.01.2022 Now that we no longer have a boat, we have to live our sailing adventures vicariously through others on YouTube. One of our favourites see discovered before we even bought our boat was always the Cruising Kiwis, and we have even met them in person when we were in Brisbane. They are currently running a competition to win some jewelery, and we love watching their channel. Go check them out and enter the competition for yourselves. #sailingfamilies #thecruisingkiwis
