25.01.2022 Happy Birthday to Ben who turns 21 today! Ben has chosen to host a digital birthday fundraiser this year, raising money for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Their purpose is to make a difference to the lives of Indigenous families by not only gifting thousands of new culturally appropriate books - with a focus on early literacy and first language - but also by running programs to inspire the communities to tell and publish their own stories. 10.01.2022 Whilst isolating in Perth, our very own Kyle Hall has conjured up a bit of nostalgia, covering the theme song from the classic 90s TV show 'Arthur'. ‘Working on a project full of nostalgia love has been therapeutic for me. I’ve been so inspired recently by art that is authentically human. Indulging in positivity has become a priority in my life as I want myself and everyone around me to enjoy our time here.’ ~ Kyle We think its pretty awesome! Check it out below. ... 04.01.2022 There is only one day to go until our show opens at the Norwood Concert Hall and we are SO excited! However, we can’t ignore the elephant in the room given the current COVID-19 outbreak. As you probably know, the Federal Government is set to ban all large gatherings of people from Monday in an effort to stop the spread. Firstly, we want to assure you that our performances this weekend are both within guidelines for numbers and to ensure they remain so we have capped further ...ticket sales. As such we will be going ahead with our shows with a number of precautionary measures in place. These include: - Ensuring venue is cleaned thoroughly before each show - Providing sanitiser stations at various locations within the Concert Hall - Cancelling the meet-and-greet with The 60 Four at the end of the show We ask that if you have any signs of ill health, you stay at home. We have been communicating closely with Mosaic AV and the Norwood Town Hall and can assure you that these organisations are also putting measures in place to ensure you have a great night out. So with ample toilet paper and hand sanitiser we have got you covered! Come and escape the madness for a couple of hours let’s go back to the 1960’s! See you there! 02.01.2022 Hello everyone! Firstly, I hope everyone is well and keeping safe and healthy amidst this craziness. I thought I’d break up your newsfeed - which I am sure is now incessantly news on the Coronavirus - to bring you a good news story we heard during our recent Fringe season. ... Peter and Joy (photo below) attended our performance on Saturday 14th March. Amazingly, they met each other for the first time at the Norwood Concert Hall (then the Town Hall) on Saturday 14th March 1970 at a 60’s themed disco. Yes. You read that right! Peter and Joy attended our 60’s tribute performance, EXACTLY 50 years after they first met at a 60’s disco at the same venue! Peter and Joy - myself and the boys are so glad we could be part of such a special night for you both. We truly hope you enjoyed the show and that we transported you back to that night 50 years ago! ~ Ben
