The iron ore heiress already owns two undeveloped land parcels, a combined 1385 square metres, she bought for $575,000 each nearly 20 years ago at Avocet Island Quay in the Eastport canals.... Compared to February, I would do a home open and get three or four groups of people, now I am getting 10-30 groups of people through, he said. I had a home on Ridgeway that sold at the first home open for the full asking price. One advantage Swan View has going for it is its close proximit...y to the airport. A lot of the fly-in, fly-out companies want people to live in Perth now, and Swan View is not far from the airport, Mr Schofield said. Another reason people are coming to the area is those looking for more space, coming from the inner areas of the city where space is scarce. 09.01.2022 On Sunday (29 November), the Treasurer announced that the HomeBuilder program will be extended to 31 March 2021, albeit in a modified form. The original program, which offers grants of $25,000 to owner-occupiers substantially renovating or building a new home, is available for contracts signed up to 31 December 2020. After that day, the extended HomeBuilder program will apply. This will provide a $15,000 grant for building contracts (new builds and substantial renovations) ...signed between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021, inclusive. There has also been an increase to the property price cap for new build contracts in New South Wales and Victoria. These are rising to $950,000 and $850,000, respectively.
