16.01.2022 Why am I at the Allenby Dance Studio open day? Because Selina sent me a personal invite and I love old school manners, so I accepted. This is not just classes. ...Its musical theatre, has a homework area and has a proper sprung timber floor as well as an ice floor for slip sliding away. David and I love ballroom and Latin and the first thing we spot, is a good floor. One thing the young ladies showed was they are all proud of their studio, they are courteous, well mannered and focused on visitors, not themselves. Its a culture I deeply respect and recommend. Free sausages and rain made for a good chat time. Thanks Selina for the invite. See more

15.01.2022 Massive adventure for me in 2020! Im going to be travelling the world with Royal Caribbean Spectrum of the Seas! I leave in March for Miami and get on the ship... in July and come back to Australia in March. Will be such an exciting 10 months and Im so ready for the next step in my life! A massive thanks to my family for always being there and supporting me all the way! Also a huge thanks to my second family, the Allenby dance studio for raising me to be the dancer I am and helping me reach all of my goals! Also thank you to Transit dance for helping me gain experience and maturity and getting my dancing to the next level. Also Evolution agency for helping me get this contract and supporting me! 2020 will definitely be the biggest year for me, Im so ready! See more

14.01.2022 To our dear Allenby Family, It is with deep sadness that we send this notice- In all our 30 years of running the Studio we have never had to close our doors for anything other than one power outage and school holidays. We appreciate and cannot thank you all enough for the loving and caring support throughout these times of uncertainty. We thank you for trusting and continuing to bring your dancers to classes in recent weeks. We have adapted the way we run in order to maintai...n a happy and safe learning environment. This morning we have had discussions with local members both state and federal who also could not clarify if we are able to stay open or need to close. Everyone is in agreement that dance studios are a very grey area of the latest government advice. In the interest of public health and safety we have been advised not to open our studio at this time. Be assured that once restrictions have been lifted our students will return to dance with renewed passion and commitment to becoming the very best dancers they can be. Our hearts are aching for all at this time as we know our dancers will be missing their second home. At present our focus is to push forward to provide enjoyable and professional dance training to our students via online teaching. We have been preparing for these changes in recent weeks however to be honest, we thought we would have more notice and time to prepare and guide families along this path. We have created a new facebook group to assist with providing information to our currently enrolled families and will be used to communicate future updates. Our plan is to implement the new online teaching platform over the next two weeks. If we are unable to reopen at the beginning of Term 2 your children will not be disadvantaged and will be able to participate in our online classes. In light of recent events we are relieved that we were able to continue up to last Saturday, almost to the end of Term 1. Your dancers have shown wonderful progress and we are extremely proud of all they have achieved thus far. When classes resume to normal make up lesson will be offered. We truly appreciate your ongoing support of our dance family. Stay healthy and safe and we look forward seeing you all again soon. Live.Love.Dance Allenby Team xx

Lauren and Lucy have proven you can do anything you set your mind to. So many achievements together as great friends! Progress.Achieve.Succeed

12.01.2022 Dear Dance Family, We are taking every precaution at the studio with wiping down barres and door handles regularly, using hand sanitizer when entering the room, after barre work ,after floor work and at the end of each class. We have a distance and no touch system in place and are insisting that if any student is unwell in any way that they stay away. We also ask parents to please drop off at the door and pick up students when possible. Live, Love, Dance and stay healthy
