22.01.2022 Today the Morrison Government has announced an additional $1.2 billion to support businesses to employ 100,000 new apprentices and trainees. Starting the 5th ...of October, businesses who take on a new apprentice will be eligible for a 50 per cent wage subsidy, regardless of location, occupation, industry or business size. 01.01.2022 This week the McGowan Government announced further support for WA businesses to help boost apprenticeship and traineeship commencements. As part of the Commonwe...alth Government Boosting Apprenticeships Commencements scheme, which offers employers of any size or industry a 50% wage subsidy when commencing a new apprentice or trainee in their business, businesses will now be exempt from payroll tax on these wage subsidies.
