24.01.2022 Extra motivation to get those colour run regos in this week! Which class will it be? Permission slip is needed for every student or family (return to box next to payment window), and pay via cash in the box or via direct debit.

11.01.2022 Junior Sport Days for Year 3, Year 2, Year 1 and Prep At the end of this term our Junior School will have the opportunity to take part in their annual Sport Day. Parents are asked to be mindful that this is a student only event to ensure the health of our Arundel Students and Staff. Dates are as follows:... Monday 14 September Year 3 and Year 2. Wednesday 16 September Year 1 and Prep. Students can wear their house coloured shirt, school hat, sport shoes and bring a labelled water bottle for their session. All students will get the opportunity to participate in several activities led by our Senior Students along with their Class Teacher. This is a fun filled event focusing on participation, having a go and House Spirit. Swimming Programs Term 4 for Prep, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5. The weather is already starting to warm up! Swimming commences week 2 of term 4. Parents and families get ready to check your child's swimmers, rashies (or a t-shirt), cap and goggles together with a towel and thongs in a swimming bag. This is an exciting time for our students as they learn a life long skill so necessary with living close to water. A government levy to support aquatic programs have been included and this will reduce the cost of the program by 20%. Permission Letters are on their way.

09.01.2022 QParents is coming! Great news: Arundel State School will soon be providing our parent community with the opportunity to register for QParents. The QParents web and mobile application provides a more convenient, easier way for parents and legal guardians of Queensland state school students to interact with their child’s school. Parents will have secure, online access to their child’s student information, anytime, anywhere, through a smartphone, tablet or computer.... QParents allows parents to connect instantly with their child’s school to access and manage their child’s student information, including: Attendance and absence details, as well as the ability to notify the school of an absence Academic report cards Viewing unpaid invoice details, payment history, and making payments online Viewing and updating personal student details, including medical conditions and address Enrolment details QParents will assist both staff and parents in sharing and responding to information in an efficient and effective way. We will be sending out invitations for parents to register for QParents in Week 1, Term 4. If you do not want to register, you may advise us not to send you any more invitations, and your child’s student information will not be available to anyone through QParents. QParents won’t replace the traditional ways you communicate with our school, but it will provide another way to communicate with us. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our scheduled Term 3 Parent/Teacher Interviews will be offered via phone. ... These telephone interviews are intended to provide information on student’s ongoing progress throughout the 2020 school year. Parent/Teacher Interviews will be conducted from the 14th September to 17th September 2020. All parents should receive information regarding these interviews from your child’s class teacher today.
