11.01.2022 What a final few sessions to finish the ASTN/ Microsoft Global Sports Innovation Center GSIC Pre-Accelerator! Session 19 featured James Demetriou providing participants with an in-depth overview on entrepreneurial finance, venture capital and importance of quality advisers. While our final session was hosted by GSIC Ambassador Unmish Parthasarathi, explaining the importance of understanding the fan as a customer, valuing distribution channels and being cognizant of relevance... and reach in order to generate revenues. Alongside Head of Research at the City Football Group Andrew Gilligan, who provided the cohort with the overseas perspective on how major clubs work openly with startups to achieve mutual benefits. The program finished on remarks by ASTN Chair James Demetriou thanking funding partner LaunchVic for their support, as well as highlighting the active contribution of delivery partners Madgwicks Lawyers, Mik and Joe Creative, Pitcher Partners, and finally the ASTN and GSIC mentors graduating all participants! #astn #Sportstech
