25.01.2022 YOU HAVE SO MANY STORIES TO SHARE!! Everybody loves a good story. Stories are how we learn and relate. When we go to school, we discover that stories are a way to make history come alive. In business, we realise stories help us explain the difficult and the best way to train our associates. Wise leaders, managers, sales professionals and RETIRED ATHLETES are well served to develop an arsenal of great stories and good examples. Good stories help differentiate us from our compe...Continue reading

16.01.2022 What ever you do after sport, always do it with the highest of integrity as we are role models for the youth in sport.

15.01.2022 Don't believe every thing you read: "It is often said that a sports star will die twice, the first time at retirement." Pardon my french - but I call BULLSHIT on that!!! ... Don't believe this rubbish. Retirement from sport can be AMAZING!!! But it certainly won't be off to a good start if you buy into this notion. I'm changing it to - "It's often said that a sports star will be born twice, the second time when they retire!"

01.01.2022 4 TIPS FOR CREATING AMAZING COPY If you're in any sort of position where you have to create copy (write,) then this one is for you! And, let's face it, these days social media is where people go to "look up" who you are and what you're into. 1. First of all you have to be really good at telling your story. Highlighting your wins AND your losses. Write from the "pain" point, from the low point and how you were feeling. This is where you will connect with others.... Feel the pain as you write about it. Be vulnerable about it. By opening up and sharing this you will be creating trust and believability. 2. Provide a solution. Not a line saying "ask me how" or "just do what I do" but really offering education. True value around what it is that you are offering. How you changed your lifestyle, how you changed your mindset, how you changed your diet, etc. The message in your pain... 3. Paint the picture of the benefit. How is by doing what you've educated them on, going to help them now. RECAP - dig into the pain, educate them on what the solution is that you've found, then give them a benefit. 4. Finally, the Call to Action. The most important part. It's easy to learn, but what are they going to do now? Don't drop the ball here. Give them something to do so they can move forward. If you're selling something physical or selling a message, always have a call to action. WRAP UP - make it engaging, make it clear, make it concise and persuasive. If you can do all this - you've got KILLER COPY!!! xx

01.01.2022 Finding this combo to win again is the key... 1. Ask yourself what you love or are interested in? 2. Does it pay well or can you make decent $$ from it? 3. What skills do you need to learn to really make it work?... You may not find it straight away, but don't stop working on finding the #win. Even if you are half way there, keep going!!!
