14.01.2022 Hawthorn members, have you bought tickets for the AFL on 17 February? We have discovered that our box office had been given some incorrect information about mem...bers' tickets. We had previously been advised that certain sections of seating would be reserved for Members holding General Admission tickets. But the word from Hawthorn is that Members have free access to the game if they present their membership card at the gates and are prepared to use General Admission (standing) for the day. If they have chosen to take advantage of this free entry there are no reserved seating areas confirmed for them. General admission will provide access to standing room and any seating areas that remain unsold on match day. If you are a Hawthorn member planning on using GA, we now understand that you should be prepared to be in the standing section. We had previously advised some of our Hawks GA patrons that they would have access to a reserved seat. We apologise for any confusion. See more

06.01.2022 Vale Jon English. We are saddend by the news of Jon's death and our condolences go to Jon's family and friends. Jon performed at the Princess several times over the years and many in Launceston would well remember his amazing performances. Rock Show patrons, please be advised that we will contact you in due course. Here is the official statement, released on the morning of 10 March 2016: It is with the deepest sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we confirm the passing of ...Jon English. Jon died peacefully last night, aged 66. The cause of death was post-operative complications. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his four children and other close family members. A public service celebrating Jon’s life will be held with details to be released shortly. We are needless to say completely shocked and devastated by this enormous and unexpected loss. The music industry, and indeed the world, has lost an incredible talent and the biggest of big hearts. We are inconsolable and will miss you immeasurably. See more
