24.01.2022 To our lovely parents who are choosing to practice social distancing with their primary aged kiddies... There are LOTS of educational resources online for kids who are learning from home. Audible is currently free for kids! https://stories.audible.com/start-listen... Go Noodle on youtube is a GREAT way to get kids up and moving as well as being educational. Number Jacks, also on youtube, is good for younger primary students. If they watch movies or read books, they can write or draw responses to what theyve seen/read. When googling, look up free resources or printable worksheets for the age group you are looking for. Google images has 1,000s of worksheets. If you have issues printing them... my hot tip is to do a screen shot. Heres some examples of whats on line... Refunds for all bookings (we almost sold out!) have been processed and should be in bank accounts in the next few days. Emails have been sent to all parents who booked. 16.01.2022 Hello to our lovely Theatre Kids community! 2020 has certainly been a year filled with challenges and we miss our gorgeous Adelaide kids SO much! The aim is to relaunch in January 2021 and run holiday sessions again. ... If you see this message and are keen for your child to join any of our 2021 programs, we’d love you to send us a message and we will send the proposed schedule to you in December. 15.01.2022 This is SO exciting for the Adelaide arts community and in fact everyone!! The $66,000,000 re-development of Her Majesty’s Theatre is pretty much completed. Aaaand... in REALLY wonderful news... Slingsby’s production ‘The Tragical Life of Cheeseboy’ is going to be the first show performed there! Congratulations Slingsby peeps! 15.01.2022 What a GREAT day we had today! Thank you to the brilliant, creative and highly entertaining group we had for the Years 3-6 session! The group travelled from far and wide to be with us today... including from Keith, Tea Tree Gully, Clarendon, The Hills, and other inner suburbs such as Burnside, Unley.. and lots from the Goodwood area. It was a busy session with warm ups, script writing, line learning, characterisation, lighting, sound effects, focus games, dance, and designing! We hope to see you all again in the April school holidays! Thanks also to my wonderful teaching team ... Sandra and Marianna! xx Hannah
