14.01.2022 Casting call: PLAYSCHOOL is looking for a child who identifies as having disability (paid opportunity, Sydney based) Nursery Rhyme News Time ABC TV’s Play School are casting for series 2 of Nursery Rhyme News Time.... Synopsis: Ground-breaking investigative news program, Nursery Rhyme News Time is back! No matter how confused our news reporter is, they always ask the big questions! What makes that little star twinkle? Why go round the mulberry bush? And why is a cake marked with ‘B’ required so urgently? Play School are looking for children be cast as our ‘Nursery Rhyme Experts’. Our Experts are the authority on all things Nursery Rhymes. They have all the answers to our Nursery Rhyme News Time reporter’s burning questions! Children will be required to memorise and deliver lines to camera, while seated in our ‘Nursery Rhyme Experts Library set. Ages: 5 7 Shoot date: 1 March 2021 Time: Approx 1 1.5 hours. Location: ABC, Ultimo, Sydney 2007 Fee: $200. Submissions: Please email [email protected] with the following: - Name, age, headshot, showreel / video if available. Sydney based only. 11.01.2022 EOI's are open for the The Flying Nun by Brand X Performing Arts Residencies. Brand X are keen to hear from professional artists interested in the working in dance, theatre, live music, performance art, comedy, film, and contemporary culture. Successful artists receive a 95% box office return for The Flying Nun performances at East Sydney Community and Arts Centre and a $1300 stipend contribution towards your production. Brand X staff will help you realise your ideas with access to their production equipment, marketing support, and front of the house for performance nights. Plus, they can offer free development time in one of their rehearsal spaces in Sydney if required. The Flying Nun EOI's close midnight 12 February.
