22.01.2022 Tracy Coster Barcoo Water Barcoo Water is an authentic bush ballad rich with droving connotations and nostalgia, complete with a catchy tune that stays in you...r head, long after the song has ended. Written by long-time family friend and retired drover Wally Brummel, Barcoo Water is the first song of thirteen to be released from the artists’ new album, Southerly Change. Tracy says the song is inspired by the stories of our country’s colourful bush men and women. I feel it’s important we capture as many stories of the early days as we can, while we can, because these men and women pioneered the track for us. On a recent tour of QLD, I went to see Wally Brummell and I got my phone out and did just that. When it came time to record my new album, I remembered the phone recording and this song really stood out to me, Tracy recounts. After making a few modifications in the studio, Tracy says the result is a very cool arrangement that captures the heart and soul of outback Central West Queensland and the iconic Barcoo River. www.tracycoster.com.au @Tracy Coster www.crspublicity.com #crspublicity #crspublicityoffical #australianmusic #australiancountrymusic #radio #australianradio #countrymusicradio #independentartists #independentmusic #newmusic #tracyandthebigd #singersongwriter #supportingartists #tracycoster #barcoowater See more

22.01.2022 Hello Everyone I am excited to share with you the film clip to go with the new single Graveyard Hill, a true bush ballad/story song, written especially for me b...y Joy McKean. The clip was filmed in our own local area by Duncan Toombes of The Filmery on the beautiful property of Paul and Sue. Thanks folks for allowing us the run of your place, hope we didn't startle the horses too much. We started very, very early in the morning to catch the first rays of sunlight and had finished that part of the filming when a surreal mist suddenly drifted in through the trees. It created such an atmosphere with the sun's rays coming through the mist that we quickly decided to film that part all over again before the mist disappeared. Thank you to Joy McKean, Anne Kirkpatrick, Rod and Jeff McCormack, Peter Simpson, Lee Handly Makeup, Brock and my family for your support and enthusiastic input to these projects. Many thanks also to all my music supporters and to the radio presenters, really couldn't do any of this without you. I am so pleased to say that the track has reached into several charts and if any radio presenters would like their own copy of Graveyard Hill please contact me on Messenger or 0401095306. Graveyard Hill can also be viewed on Youtube at 'Dianne Lindsay Graveyard Hill' and also on my website. I hope you enjoy the clip and feel free to share.

14.01.2022 :) A REMINDER re the JANUARY 2021 Balladeers Bulletin. Thank you to all who have already submitted material for the January 2021 edition. Whilst the official deadline for main articles/adverts for the Balladeers Bulletin was the 20th of October, artists & event organisers members are reminded that they may still send material to [email protected] until early November (as the bulletin goes to print in mid-November).... A helpful tip to ensure there is SPACE available for later items you may wish to include is (if you are putting something together but waiting on additional information), please email or ring advising you will be sending material in, so space can be put aside for your item/ad. The bulletin layout works by adding '4 sides' so if there is enough new information or expected information being received after the deadline, more sides can be added. :) Making changes/adding info. (if needed) also applies to those who have already supplied articles for the January edition until early November. Also - members are reminded they are always welcome to forward a current bio, a poem, or even a favourite recipe for inclusion in any edition! Please feel welcome to contact the Balladeers Bulletin via [email protected] at any time, or give ABBA President Peter Coad (OAM) a call on 0428 480 545 if you have any queries. The Deadline for the APRIL Balladeers Bulletin is the 9th of FEBRUARY 2021. Kind regards Virginia Coad (ABBA Publicity Officer)

08.01.2022 Ashley Cook Mt Scoria Ashley is one of Australia’s premier bush balladeers. He walks a path of undisputed authenticity due to the fact that he lives the life ...he sings about. His cattle property in Thangool, central Qld, borders the boundary of Mount Scoria. This unique tourist attraction is a core of a Volcano, one of only three in the world. Mount Scoria is especially important to the region’s indigenous population. The Gaangalu People consider Mount Scoria to be culturally significant and a short walking trail tells their cultural stories. The small volcanic mountain features unusual basalt columns. These were the result of lava cooling and forming pillars with five to eight sides called columnar. If you listen closely when its windy, you can hear the wind whistling through the pillars, like they’re playing music. www,ashleycook.com.au Ashley Cook - Qld's Own Bush Balladeer www.crspublicity.com #crspublicity #crspublicityoffical #australianmusic #australiancountrymusic #radio #australianradio #countrymusicradio #independentartists #independentmusic #newmusic #tracyandthebigd #singersongwriter #supportingartists #ashleycook #mtscoria See more

06.01.2022 Justin Standley and Virginia Coad - Camooweal It was during an impromptu performance at the Bungendore Muster that Virginia and Justin discovered that Camooweal... works well as a duet: add to that a good beat and unleash these two yodellers, and you suddenly had a standing ovation and demands from the Bungendore audience to record this new interpretation of an Australian Bush Ballad classic. Matt Fell’s production on this track is superb! www.teamjustinstandley.com www.facebook.com/VirginiaCoad @Justin Standley VIRGINIA COAD www.crspublicity.com #crspublicity #crspublicityoffical #australianmusic #australiancountrymusic #radio #australianradio #countrymusicradio #independentartists #independentmusic #newmusic #tracyandthebigd #singersongwriter #supportingartists #justinstandley #virginiacoad #camooweal #davidkirkoatrick #alexmackcormack See more
