24.01.2022 MOTORLIFE MUSEUM REMEMBERS HOLDEN'S LEGACY Do you have a favourite Holden car? With news this week that Holden will be retired, The Australian Motorlife Museum treasurer Lance Jenkins reflects on his love for the brand, alongside an FJ from their collection.

24.01.2022 Many thanks to the Sydney Tramway Museum for bringing the Museums historic AEC Regent 2619 down again to give rides to the public. Always a popular attraction!

22.01.2022 Reminder ! ! ! National Motoring Heritage Day is this coming Sunday, we will have a few of our members' vintage cars out to give rides for visitors to the museum, the sausages have been ordered and the weather forecast looks good so come along for a fun day out.

20.01.2022 The Australian MOTORLIFE Museum will close to the general public until further notice. All MOTORLIFE club and coffee runs will be cancelled until further notice. Office staff and essential workers will still be at their duties but we ask all members to take all precautions necessary to stay healthy.

20.01.2022 Hi folks. We have been getting a few messages asking if we are open yet. The plan is to reopen on Thursday July 9th if nothing changes with the government recommendations. We have not been idle though and have taken the opportunity to catch up with some much needed maintenance and improvements to the museum while we were closed. We will also have all of the necessary safety precautions in place but of course there is plenty of room for everyone to keep their distance. We will post confirmation nearer the date but put July 9th in the diary. See you all then.

17.01.2022 Some excellent Drone footage taken early on Sunday morning, on our 10th Anniversary EXPO. Thank you Phill Cooper and Geoff Sole and to the Monaro Club for being a part of it all! https://youtu.be/lWD-UGyLtQ0

14.01.2022 An unlikely pair seen at our Expo in October, just to show how eclectic our membership is. When did you last see a Hummer parked next to a Humber?

14.01.2022 Thanks Don ! Life Member Don Matthew has been involved one way or another since the beginning going back over 40 years, and has served on the museum's Committee on and off for 24 years. At this week's AGM he decided to step down and have a rest, although he will still be working with the Curatorial Committee and carry on looking after various exhibits. So here is our Treasurer Lance Jenkins presenting him with a bunch of Australian native flowers as a 'Thank You'.

12.01.2022 Part 2 from our 10th Anniversary EXPO. Thank you Phill Cooper and Geoff Sole! https://youtu.be/fvJCG2f7kDQ

09.01.2022 The latest strange addition to the display is this Trojan. British made from the 1920s they were known to be very basic but very tough. This one was donated by resident of Goulburn last year as a fairly rusty car needing restoration. Miraculously with some effort from our volunteers in the workshop the motor now turns over, some are even suggesting getting it running, but for now it is displayed as it was found.

08.01.2022 Coming soon ! Put the date in your diary and keep watching for more news......

06.01.2022 Another legend gone, a sad day.

04.01.2022 There have been some who would abuse the club registration system. Not in our club but we do need to be careful everyone plays by the rules.

03.01.2022 Unfortunately the museum will be closed until further notice. The increasing number of Covid-19 cases and our responsibility to our staff, our volunteers and the visiting public has left us no choice. Hopefully this will not be for long, we will post any news of when we can reopen here as soon as we know. Stay safe.

02.01.2022 Some of our members had a nice day out for brekkie a couple of weeks ago and can recommend this cafe in Shellharbour.

02.01.2022 Latest update. Hope to see a field full of Minis tomorrow. And while you are there, don't miss the chance to check the latest additions to the museum.

02.01.2022 Good news folks! The museum will be open again from Thursday September 3rd. We hope this time that we can stay open with no more virus scares but we do ask that all staff, volunteers and visitors remember to abide by the recommended hygiene and distancing rules so we do not have any reason to worry for the future. Opening times will be Thursday to Sunday, 9.30am to 4.30pm with last admissions at 4.00pm. Hope to see you all soon!

02.01.2022 There will be an exciting display of racing cars in the museum at this year's Motoring Expo for the one day only. How about a genuine Formula One McLaren ? Come on over for the day and don't miss this !

01.01.2022 LATEST NEWS ! Sorry but to follow up on our reopening dates we have some delays with finishing the improvements and to allow a couple of days extra to get everything ready will be open from Saturday 11th July and from the week after from Thursday to Sunday. Of course that is unless government guidelines change again, but to be sure keep watching here for updates.
