01.06.2022 Fabulous 3 days commentating at @psidjwts The weather was wonderful, amazingly talented young horses along with some very cute 4/5, 6/7 year old ponies. I particularly loved the Dun Whaler x, but sadly wouldn’t have room in my luggage. As usual the Young Event Horse class kicked off proceedings on Thursday. Some lovely young Eventing types with Spring Creeks Prince Alfred (TB by American ) with Chris Height in the plate, winning the 6/7 year old class. The 4/5 year old class was won by eventual Champion of Champions The Luxmoore Family’s Neat N Tidy ridden by Rowan Luxmoore. After a 2 year hiatus it was great fun to be out commentating again, must remember my binoculars next outing. Which very excitingly will be at Willinga Park in April.
24.05.2022 Finally an Event report!! Was lucky enough to head down to the Sustainable Warwick Horse Trails. My first Qld HT and it didn’t disappoint. From the signs on the loo, think that falls into only in Aus category! I definitely shut the door. To a great expansive grass arena for the Dressage and Show Jumping phases. An undulating, treed 300 acres was the perfect place for the Cross Country. Run by a small but dedicated band, aren’t they all. Made for a fun foray into a new Eventing adventure.
07.05.2022 The excitement begins
29.04.2022 Before and after shots of Bridge to Brisbane! Not entirely sure why they are called Fun Runs. It was a hot and humid 27c day for the run. No PB but got it done. And managed not to get lost there or back!
25.04.2022 Devastating news. Another year without the running of the fabulous Aus3de. Roll on 2022!

22.01.2022 Finally a report from a fabulous new event on the Eventing calendar-JM Financial Group Oxley Horse Trials. If memory serves the last time an EA HT was held at this super venue was in 2007 so it was great to be involved in its first year back. The results showed that TBs are still the breed to Event on with 3/6 of the classes being won by OTTs. The winners were:- Willow Farm EvA65-N. Payne and the well named OTT ROK Hudson. Saddleworld Wangaratta EvA 65-T Ashby Magic Mi...ke. Hoystead Racing EvA80-I Wright & Betsy Girl (OTT) Moyhu Hotel EvA80-J Beesley Jazdan Spellbound What a fabulous place to eat! Horse Bit Emporium EvA-T Storey riding Jaybee Altitude with Wendy Skills OTT in second. And in the senior class Wangaratta Equine Emporium CCN1*-Hayley Robl piloting another of the OTTs Lucky Decision. Mick Pineos XC courses ensured that it wasnt a combined training competition! Everyone involved in event were winners and so there was lots of grinning over the weekend. See more

17.01.2022 Although this has nothing to do with horses! I thought we could all watch something to warm our hearts and puts a smile on our faces during this tragic and difficult fire season. A survivor and her bubba . Theres been a food and water drop 30mts from where they were filmed. Enjoy I did.

16.01.2022 A revamped Oxley Horse Trials nee Wangaratta HT. Fabulous to see this event reincarnated. Held at lovely old venue, with beautiful galloping on rotivated going between the glorious gums on the river flats. With sand over the road crossings the small but energetic committee have the competition well in hand. Commentary starts with the first competitor at 8am. Looking forward to the first call for 2020. @ Oxley Recreation Reserve
