20.01.2022 This weekend we have certainly been reminded next month is winter... Each change of season can effect our skin in different ways and the cooler weather definitely leaves its mark.... Cool air tightens our skin pores and reduces blood circulation. This reduces the naturally occurring oil known as Sebum. So why do we need this natural oil? Sebum acts as a protective layer and traps moisture next to the skin. Combined with the lower humidity in the air the skin will start... to dry out. No one likes dry, dull, flakey skin so these are a few things that will help prevent it and keep your largest organ, the skin glowing Moisturise , moisturise and moisturise.... a good moisturiser is extremely important! Sometimes it is wise to change your moisturiser as the air becomes cooler... Reduce the time you spent in the shower! Long Hot showers are a no no even as tempting as they may be. Avoid harsh soaps and body washes that are cheap and full of harmful chemicals. Apply your moisturiser as soon as you get out of the shower. Use a body brush prior to showering. Continue to apply your Sunscreen and drink Water just because it cooler these are still vital for a healthy body. Self Facial Massage, while sitting in front of TV grab a teaspoon of oil (anything like Olive, Coconut, Avocado, Macadamia Oil from your pantry will do) and get that blood flowing in your face. 07.01.2022 When I reopen next week I’m excited to announce I will be stocking Pure Fuji.. My daughter Charlotte introduced me to these beautiful body products a little while ago. I have always thought; I’m sure my clients would love them as much as I do... You’ll get to experience some during your treatments....

06.01.2022 After a long 7 weeks I’m allowed to pamper my clients once again from next week... As a Beauty Therapist maintaining a hygienic environment has always been of upmost importance! I have always; Washed and sterilised hands throughout your treatment. I always change all linen between each client! ... Use disposable items wherever possible Sterilise everything I use on each client, tweezers, brushes, bowls etc. Continually wipe over surfaces with disinfectant and maintain a clean floor... So what’s new you may ask? I will be wearing a mask, not the most attractive look! However, if it makes myself and my clients feel a little safer returning to this new world it’s the least I can do.. I will save on lipstick ... I have already had some clients contact me when they heard the rules have been relaxed and I still do have few appointments on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning and Friday!
