25.01.2022 ‘Twas a chilly but beautiful view for this weeks install in Tolmie just near Mansfield. We managed to choose wisely and scored a couple of exceptionally sunny days, not too bad for the start of winter! An overnight stay was in order to complete the ten crank op wire guide g-screens in high quality clear pvc. These are the perfect way to keep that view whilst providing some protection to the deck and this magnificent home

23.01.2022 A great internal and external result on this fantastically renovated Pearcedale home. On the outside we installed two Hardback Wholesale Blinds and Awnings crank operated fixed guide eShade awnings in black mesh with monument headboxes. Framing the windows perfectly and with the modern sleekness of the enclosed hood and teardrop bottom rail, the eShades are great for stopping the sun from hitting the window and keeping those heat prone rooms cooler. On the inside Verosol Au...stralia rollers were fitted, blockout blinds in gemini and v screen blinds in Lentil. A very pleasing result for a lovely family

20.01.2022 To all our friends, followers and customers, Following the government most recent stage 4 restrictions The Awning and Blind Co will be closed temporarily for installs and face to face quotes and consultations for the next 6 weeks. We understand the importance of staying home, staying safe, following guidelines and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of others. Although we’d love to still be out there doing what we do best, we’ll be right here at home offering virtual access to... the business whilst we’re fumbling through homeschooling, toddler taming and the ever expanding list of household chores being written as we speak! During the next 6 weeks we’ll be operating via virtual platforms: phone, emails, and zoom calls. We’d still love to help with any queries or suggestions, quote estimates, design consultations and quoting off plans and window measurements. Some, but unfortunately not all, of our suppliers will still be accepting and manufacturing orders through this time allowing us to place orders and receive them ready to install once restrictions are lifted. 17.01.2022 Complete fit out of screen and blockout motorised Verosol Australia roller blinds for this new townhouse in beautiful McCrae. We required the use of Rollease Acmeda uni joint bracket for a high corner window in the stairwell that’s prone to too much sun, allowing the roller blinds to sit perfectly together. A great result for this stylish new home

13.01.2022 We loved this new build of Geoff’s house right on the site of his childhood home! A bit different to the beach shack that once graced this spot at Phillip Island. Single pleat sheer and blockout curtains along with screen and blockout rollers complete the fit out. A great place to escape the rat race!

08.01.2022 A whole lot of love for this quirky little character filled home in Chelsea. Outside caramel mesh was the perfect match for the crank operated drop arm awning with a classic cream pelmet finishing it off beautifully. A motorised fixed guide, again in caramel mesh, will help cool the house from the sun loving top window. Inside the creamy tones were continued throughout with both blockout single pleat and sheer curtains. An extra thermal layer was added to the blockouts to help keep the warmth in winter and keep things extra cool in the warmer months, often a challenge with these older homes.

For the screen blinds Montana rock was chosen, a great choice for a modern look. ... In the bathroom a charcoal Venetian have them the option of complete privacy and natural light.

02.01.2022 These tricky windows are always hard to find the perfect solution for but shaped pleated silverscreen blinds from Verosol Australia did the job magnificently. Silverscreen is a high performance fabric, using it reflects up to 85% of solar energy before it turns to heat. The view to outside is unaffected, allowing users both privacy and full enjoyment of the surroundings. Ambience roller blinds for the sliding doors complemented the pleats perfectly and also utilises the same silverscreen technology. A good choice and a great upgrade from the old vertical blinds for this lovely Balnarring couple
