17.01.2022 Results from a world-first trial by the Parent-Infant Research Institute at Austin Health show almost 80 per cent of women who took part in the six-week program recovered from their depression. This compares with 18 per cent of women in remission who had the usual treatment. 13.01.2022 Giving out of Baby Boxes is the result of the Shepparton Collaboration for Expectant and New Mothers". We call this, The Baby Box Project". It was a special project funded by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust. Our project was to select and implement one or two achievable co-ordination projects for expectant mothers or who have children under school age. Goulburn Valley Pregnancy and Family Support Service worked with volunteers, families and colleague agencies in Shepparton,... including Rumbalara, CatholicCare Sandhurst and Save the Children, to identify what its future focus was to be for support for mothers and their families, including children and their fathers.
