24.01.2022 Delia finding her comfort zone at the Open Stage, now weekly in the Valley. Such a beautiful timbre in this voice <3 dedicating a lullaby for Talluhlah, Delias grandaughter. All are welcome to come and jam or perform in any way or style you wish. Wednesday nights 6.30pm at Unite on Wickham St The Valley, use the laneway off Warren st nearby and come in round the back. Great sound, lovely people, very fun. James brings his digital piano for pianists, and Peter plays his enthralling cut up film loops as a backdrop. Coffee and other beverages for purchase, byo food, booze, instruments. $5 Entry

10.01.2022 Hi Everyone :) Thanks for enjoying The Baby Grand with us over the past year. To those of you who donated to our recent crowdfunding effort, that was very nice of you, and it warms the heart no end.... As we sadly didn't meet our target and the venue has closed, all contributors have been contacted regarding the refunding of donations, and were given til the 19th of July to let us know. This is a reminder giving you a bit of extra time to send your bank account details to [email protected] if you'd like your contribution returned to you. Please let us know by midnight tomorrow, July 24, so that we can wrap things up in earnest. If you're happy for your donation to support the current closing process and help us welcome Brisbane artists, including the fostering of budding performers, in a new venue, as we're on the verge of doing, thank you, your generosity is greatly appreciated. All are welcome to join us as we shapeshift into the future, presenting open stage and other magical events at a venue soon to be announced on this page and elsewhere.....
