Last year when we bought the property at the intersection of Park and West Swan Road we discovered that one of the previous owners had left behind a shed full of interesting old things: maps, books, lamps, tools, radios and more. We wanted to know where it all came from so, we started digging deeper. ... Our search led us to Alton Toppy Geer, a local beekeeper and avid collector who lived on this site for over 38 years. Toppy grew up in Northam and East Guildford, working for the West Australian Railways before retiring in 1978 to open a honey shop with his wife, Jan. By our reports, it sounds like he was a ripper bloke. Its locals like Toppy that make the Swan Valley great so, if you remember him or his honey shop, wed love to hear what you have to say. Having worked in WA brewing for over 8 years, his experience is impressive not only has he made some ripper beers, he is a good bloke and really fits in with our family theme. His first challenge: developing our core range. You can expect all the crowd favourites, including a Pale Ale, Lager, IPA, NEIPA and Midstrength plus a Cider for those rare days when you need a break from beer.
