15.01.2022 That gratifying feeling you get when your official Food Business License comes in the mail . Holding this piece of paper signifies so much for me... I started this little business from a light bulb idea I had 2 years ago while I was on maternity leave. At the time, I was on my incredible weight loss journey post pregnancy of having my daughter Genesis. During my journey, I just naturally fell in love with making nutritious meals and snacks that would not only help me get ...to a happier and healthier version of myself but creating food that genuinely TASTED good was paramount for me. . Apart from proper meals, I loved making protein smoothies and buying protein balls that were such an easy on the go snack after workouts, albeit sadly most of the PB’s I’d buy out there were either dry, bland, tasteless or all of the above. So I decided to start making my own at home, I played around with lots of recipes and started sharing them to my family and friends... I started talking to other people and I quickly found that I wasn’t the only one disappointment with the taste of most Protein Balls on the market. I then had this burning urge to start something... I was well aware that their is no shortage of Protein Ball’s and that they are available practically anywhere you go but there was certainly a hole in the market and I had this burning desire to fill that void... Cut a long story short, that’s how @theballishcompany was born! . Just like most business owners, I’ve had ample set backs to make me wonder whether or not I’m thick skinned enough to go the distance and I still have my days where I question whether or not I’m equipped of growing my little business into everything I have ever envisioned for it. I continue to remind myself that my dreams and aspirations are mine for the taking and life shouldn’t be lived with regret nor hesitation. I’m so bloody excited for the future ahead of Ballish, and I’m so thankful for everything and everyone who’s been apart of my journey thus far! Especially my family and friends, that endless supply of love and support is what keeps me on my A game!
