06.01.2022 We now have sparkling water on tap! One of the ideas behind switching was to reduce the amount of single use products making their way through our doors. Even though the sparkling we sold previously came in a can or a glass bottle (which is a better choice than plastic) this way we are now producing less trash/recycling. We are always looking for ways to improve our footprint as a business. If you have any ideas we are ALWAYS happy to hear them!

05.01.2022 Didn’t see that coming! Lovely guests of The Banksia Tree. We want to do the right thing and we want us all to be safe. We will re-open at 8am.. next Wednesday. We don’t want to put extra pressure on our suppliers or staff by rushing to reopen for Sunday. We don’t feel we would be giving you best experience if we did that.... We only use small local suppliers and many of them will be struggling to suddenly flip back from closed to open. Yes-we will lose money. But we want to be able to offer you, our full menu, using the best local coffee/milk/bacon/eggs/veg that we can get. Because that’s what we do and that’s what you expect from us. From all the staff-stay safe See more
