22.01.2022 Official portrait of Lynno and Pablo for RaceX, released by BASA today.

19.01.2022 Get to know your Bastronauts Part II: Lyn (Lynno) Wallis is a senior Bastronaut and Chief Rabbit for The Daily Rabbit, producer of The Baranduda Moonshot and RaceX missions. Lynno has worked on the Australian theatre scene for about 35 years, and is delighted that these missions allows her to get out of the office/rehearsal room, and into the great outdoors. The only downsides for her are the unspeakably cold weather (why are space missions always scheduled during Winter ... even the spontaneous ones?), dirt, exercise of any kind, and Pablo’s tendency to chew on her eyebrows when she’s pretending to do push-ups in the backyard. Lynno hopes that all the people of the world watching this historic mission (16 and counting), have a lot of fun seeing her and Pablo go where no woman and her dog have gone before. She hopes that they too will make time to play in the backyard, and will look up from their screens at night, to wonder at the beauty of the star-filled sky.

17.01.2022 It's an absolute miracle, but we are back home! And preparing to officially release 15 minutes of FULL mission highlights today at 12pm (including 'the end'). Find out what happened ...

11.01.2022 Get to know our Bastronauts! Pablo (Picasso Inigo Montoya) Shepanski-Wallis is a first generation Bastronaut. As a key member of Baranduda Air & Space Administration’s Bastronaut force, Pablo is everything we want a Bastronaut to be: smart, brave, and hairy. Born in the beautiful Indigo Valley, Pablo’s potential as a Bastronaut was revealed when he leapt to a height of 3.2 feet from a stationary position, in pursuit of a fried chicken leg (held by a small, distressed child).... Behavioural training had no effect; fortunately, BASA has been able to steer and harvest his talents to the benefit of the astronautical community. In his spare time, Pablo likes going for long walks (although not uphill as it turns out), chasing rabbits, and annoying the hell out of other Bastronauts in the house by getting his ball stuck under the couch repeatedly and making them crawl under in the dust to retrieve it. Sometimes that happens four times in a single night (!!!) Pablo is hugely excited about the totally spontaneous nature of the RaceX mission!
