The space was palatial, so well appointed and the beds were super comfy with beautiful linen. Karen was so helpful and provided extra settings for a luncheon we held. #guestsloveus

We recommended booking yourselves into the Kiva Spa in Mullumbimby Hidden in a bamboo grove down a quiet lane in Mullumbimby you will find the local hot-spot Kiva Spa. Treat yourself to a rejuvenating massage, a detoxifying sweat in the yurt styled wood-heated sauna. Take your time for a relaxing soak in one of the four jet-streamed spa pools. The Barn felt like a Tuscan Villa. Everything was so clean. Two friendly chickens kept us company in the afternoon. The cows were also friendly. The outside fire pit was also a nice bonus. 04.01.2022 Another treat yourself to the beauty of the Byron Shire is a visit to Broken Head A lovely easy walk through the lush rainforest and you’ll emerge at an amazing view. Overlooking Kings Beach, you can’t find a better spot to sit and contemplate the natural beauty around you. The views are incredible, a wonderful coastal panorama of secluded beaches, rocky coves and dense rainforest.... In winter and spring, it’s a fantastic vantage point to spot migrating whales, and great for birdwatching too. Also, during this time, the headland bursts with colour when the wildflowers are out. Take a moment to learn about the Aboriginal story behind Three Sisters, which tells the tale of three sisters who were turned into the rocky outcrops near the headland. Alternatively, you could just stroll along the beach, dip your toes into the glistening blue waters, and enjoy the serenity under a shady tree at the rainforest edge. This is a national park & parking fees apply.

03.01.2022 Our lovely recent guests left us a great review I spent a week at the Barn. It was a beautiful location and a joy to stay in. The location was perfect for driving the roads of the hinterland. Federal has a great Japanese cafe and coffee brewer and we were just 10 minutes from Bangalow and an easy drive to Byron and the coast.
