19.01.2022 Through the little rusted gate We found this little metal ‘gate’ on the property when we first moved here. For the past six years it has been patiently waiting for us to find the perfect spot for it. Finally, I think it has found its spot! I just love being able to recycle old items to give them a new life and this one is particularly pretty, in my opinion. I can’t wait for spring and summer for it to frame the potager when it is at its most productive.... 12.01.2022 ~ Inspired ~ Receiving messages and enquiries from new guests always inspires me to get into the barn and start playing around with styling. The garden is bursting with life and although we don’t have many cut flower options at the moment, our tulips are looking beautiful and add a pop of colour to some freshly cut camellia branches. 04.01.2022 I’m taking the time to finally start a course that I’ve dreamt of doing since we began this journey in 2019 of having guests stay in our little barn. So, this morning my husband helped me drag a vintage table into our house in front of our big living room window so that I have an inspiring and beautiful workspace that looks out over views of Mount Macedon and the lovely barn that soon we hope to accept guests into again. I’m excited about getting prepared for when we can op...en up again and give our guests a gorgeous space to relax and stay.
