25.01.2022 I’m so excited to test out my new Dorbarre in my latest, at home, YouTube Barre workout. I filmed this workout at home, in my hallway, with the dorbarre attached to my spare bedroom door, and it worked really well. OMG, though, my legs were dying, and it’s only a short classit’s amazing what you can achieve in 15 minutes of exercise! 25.01.2022 There are 3 main things you need to think of to hold a great plank: 1 Actively feel like you are rotating outwards from your shoulders, into a movement called external rotation. 2Squeeze your gluts 3Lift the belly button gently up towards your spine And actually...well...can I add another one..... 4Press up out of your shoulders. 17.01.2022 Getting excited for the week ahead like... Back to the Barre...Oh Yeah! Tessa started the week off right with a fully booked Monday night class. Taylor takes Over 50's Barre and Yoga on Wed, and Katie leads the Over 50s and Open level Barre on Saturday morning.... 16.01.2022 Well, as we shut our gyms here in South Australia for the next few weeks with covid restrictions, I just happen to have a new barre class ready to launch on You...Tube for you all to do at home. This is a great 30 minute, whole body, Barre FIT class. We do a combination of barre based functional movements set to an interval timer which increases your heart rate and fat burning. We do a mixture of strengthening and sculpting exercises along with some cardio bursts. This class is a no equipment class and a low impact workout suitable for beginners.
