03.01.2022 Can we talk about our 15's Performance team for just one sec??? This photo represent so much to me. Our students work ethic, commitment and resilience. They are a small group on a normal day and a week before our first comp, one of our students had a significant health concern and was unable to dance. It devasted all of us, as they have all worked so hard and been through so much this year. Our girls took it on the chin, adjusted themselves and their routine and went on and ...danced with one less. (With a special cheerleader in the audience). Not once was it an option to pull the routine, even though they knew they were going to dance against studios with full time dancers. That's just how we roll. I opened this dance studio for a few reasons. One of them was to give students the opportunity for dance to positively affect their lives, teach them personal growth and enrich their lives. The other was to help kids reach their potential technically and artistictly. I think this photo, and the wonderful girls in it, show that we are well on our way to doing just that. For some people this is a beautiful photo of a jump (that is actually surprisingly hard to pull off effectively) for us it represents so much more
