14.01.2022 Shepparton Theatre Arts Group A Mid Covid Nights Playreading. With the current COVID-19 restrictions continuing STAG is finding ways to connect with our members in new and different ways. We have decided to run a Mid-COVID nights Play readings via Zoom. We will be reading a play by Jean-Pierre Martinez titled Friday the 13th, John and Christine have invited two of their friends for dinner. Natalie arrived without her husband (Patrick) distraught, having just heard that the p...lane bringing him home has crashed at sea. And that is just the beginning of this eventful evening, with twists, turns and revelations galore. We are inviting you to be a part of this play reading in the form of either a reader on the night or just somebody who would like to listen to the player being read. There is no limit to the number of people who can read this play as we will have multiple breakout rooms. The Galactic Starship, Corona Star-19 is ten months into an eleven month journey to a new colony on planet Trump-One, when they are intercepted by an escape pod with the last survivor of a viral outbreak on planet Clinton. ... They save the survivor, only to find that their lives are now at risk. Corona Star-19 is a Zoom comedy, drama, ‘whodunnit’ of galactic proportions. The intergalactic premiere will occur on Saturday 4 July at 7.30pm.

07.01.2022 COVID0-19 Update - Season 2020 All remaining seasons in 2020 have now been cancelled due to the impacts of the coronavirus. Even with the relaxing of restrictions in Victoria it would be impossible for us to safeguard our patrons attending the theatre for the remainder of the year. We are all disappointed that these productions will not go ahead in 2020. ... We will continue to monitor the situation and ensure that all our members and patrons are regularly informed about the developing situation through our web pages, Facebook pages, and newsletter emails. We are currently planning an exciting performance program for 2021 with the expectation that shows will be able to be staged by February 2021. The Basin Theatre has a record of all tickets purchased and can apply the value of your purchased tickets to other The Basin Theatre productions at a later date. Ticket prices will not change in 2021. For those Patrons who have purchased season tickets or show tickets the following 3 options are available: - Option 1 Single Show Credit If you purchased show tickets to Season 2, 3 or 4, please hold onto your tickets until the new show dates have been confirmed and then give our Ticket Secretary a call on 1300 784 668 to exchange your tickets for the next show. Option 2 Season Ticket Credit If you are a Subscriber to the full 2020 Season at the Basin Theatre then the value of the unused tickets that you have purchased can be used as a credit towards your subscription for our 2021 Playbill Season. Again, hold onto your tickets until the 2021 dates have been confirmed and then give our Ticket Secretary a call on 1300 784 668 to use your credit. Option 3 Ticket Refund While our normal policy is to provide ticket refunds where we cancel a performance, the financial impact on The Basin Theatre’s cash flow is quite substantial where one or more seasons are cancelled. Please consider donating part or all of your ticket refund to The Basin Theatre to assist us providing great theatrical experiences into the future. If you purchased your tickets via The Basin Theatre website and wish to request a refund, then please email your request to [email protected] including details of your tickets and whether you would like to make a donation and the donation $ amount, or If your tickets were purchased via telephone, please call our Ticket Secretary on 1300 784 668 to request your refund.
