25.01.2022 Following on from my last post on Business Guru’s, today I viewed a video announcing that in November a new Direct Selling association is going to be launched here in Australia. Bear in mind, we already have the Direct Sellers Association Australia - DSAA (www.directselling.org.au) which is the country’s industry’s governing body and consumer protection authority. The person setting up this new association, states its based on her 30 years of experience in the Direct Sellin...Continue reading

22.01.2022 Financial Guru, Robert Kiyosaki is a big advocate for Network Marketing. He has writtenabout the benefits of becoming involved with a Network Marketing company and starting your own Network Marketing business in his books, Cashflow Quadrant, The Business of the 21st Century and dare I say it, co-authored book by Robert and Donald Trump, Why We Want You to be Rich. #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness

20.01.2022 I see so many people do this, jump from one company to another hoping it will be better and more successful. The truth is, had they done their own extensive due-diligence, they would already know they are with the best company. #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness

16.01.2022 It's a great idea, NOT to rely on one source of income, as current events has demonstrated. #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness

16.01.2022 I don’t know about you, but my Facebook newsfeed keeps getting these Business Coaches sponsored posts or I see posts in Australian Direct Selling/Party Plan groups from Business Coaches advertising and promoting their businesses that state they provide advice and support to those in the Direct Sales Industry and offer courses for a fee. Don’t be sucked in. These people DON’T have a vested interest in your business and they don’t know the ins and outs of your chosen company.... The information they provide is very general in nature and not specific to your business or needs. Yes, you can pick up a few tips here and there but my recommendation is to always, always, go to your company and those who invited you to join your chosen company for advice and support, as only they have a vested interest in your success and understand your business. It's almost like they're trying to prey upon those who are disillusioned with their business and/or not making any money by saying we have the answer to your success, we have the silver bullet that will solve all your problems. The information these Business Coaches provide, may not comply with your chosen company’s policies, business building techniques etc. etc. Some of them talk about social media platforms that you pay for but you'll get the money back in profits. Sounds fair enough, until you realise that your chosen company is an equal opportunity company (provides a level playing field for everyone) with rules that state you can't pay for advertising, so those with more money, don't have an unfair over others in the company who don't have money to spend on advertising. For whatever reason, you’re not receiving this support and are looking at other ways to gain advice, then I would question why you are with your chosen company. If these people were so interested in your success and business, why charge a fee? I DON’T charge fee’s to those looking for advice and support. I DON’T give you advice on how to become successful with your current company, that's for your chosen company/team/tribe etc. But I WILL help you if you’re looking at joining this awesome industry and helping you do your due-diligence when looking for a company to join or if you’re looking at changing companies. #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness

15.01.2022 One in ten companies plan to shut up shop when the wage subsidy (i.e Job Keeper) runs out. Although we now look to be getting on top of the second wave in Melbourne we are yet to really experience the full financial impacts of #COVID19 has on businesses, the true unemployment level and on financial markets due to the added financial measures that Job Keeper and Job Seeker have provided. Now more than ever before, people are realising that putting all your eggs, in this case, ...people’s financial security, into one basket. Now more than ever before, people are realising the importance of that having multiple income streams (other ways of earning income) rather than solely relying on the income from their wage/salary from their job. Although typically looked at in a negative light, mainly from those who don’t really understand the industry, the Direct Sales Industry has proven to be many peoples answer, to this need. https://bit.ly/34OkSmS #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness #Unemployment #JobSeeker #JobKeeper #Recession #Underemployment

04.01.2022 We are ahead of the pack when it comes to making money online. The Direct Sales Industry has been online for the good part of 15 years, with some companies even developing their first websites and going online in the late 90's. This presence has intensified with the addition of Social Media platforms in the last 10 years.... We are on trend, and now with the effects of #COVID19, more people have embraced the online world and e-commerce. More retailers are either downsizing to smaller stores or closing down and moving totally to an online store. With such a diverse product range, it’s not too late to become involved with the Direct Sales Industry, be a part of this e-commerce boom and reap the rewards. Ask me how.... https://youtu.be/SrA-cFk8MVw #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness #ecommerce #online #socialmedia #Facebook #Instagram #Socialselling #ABC

04.01.2022 Over the last few years, there have been a number of companies I have been cautiously watching. Avon was one and we know what happened to them here in Australia, but another one of concern for me is Tupperware. For years now, the Tupperware Company has been in decline. Like Avon, it has been slow to embrace the changes in the Direct Sales Industry with the introduction of Social Media and ecommerce. These changes would require the company to change its business model and sale...s platforms. Its only due to recent events mainly COVID19 the company has been forced to act and has made some changes. But has it come too late? For those who don’t already know, Tupperware owns Nutrimetics Australia/New Zealand even though Consultants here in Australia keep stating in their posts, it’s an Australian company, which I consider stretching the truth. Nutrimetics is only available in Australia and New Zealand with Tupperware owning other beauty brands marketed in countries outside of Aus & NZ. So on a play on words, you could claim it is an Australian company owned by Tupperware, but I would say the truth is more like, it’s an Australian brand owned by a foreign company. So if the Tupperware Company finds itself in financial difficulty in the future, this not only will affect Tupperware Consultants but Nutrimetics Consultants aswell. It will be interesting to see whether the company can turn itself around but as the below article suggests, it’s going to be very hard to do considering the debt the company now has on its books. https://www.livewiremarkets.com/wi/tupperware-party-no-more #Tupperware #Nutrimetics #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness

03.01.2022 Under 35s face decade of lost income. Statistics suggest young people have been worst affected by job losses since the start of the #COVID19 health crisis. Being exposed to news like this, it looks to be all doom and gloom but with the Under 35’s generation being more Social Media and Tech savvy, this can also be a defining moment for them.... The effect of more businesses and people having to move online, to either work from home, shop online etc, this is the prime time for the Under 35’s to be looking at joining the e-commerce community and start a business within the Direct Sales Industry and profit from their online know how. With many bricks and mortar ‘Zombie’ companies (Companies only staying afloat due to Government financial stimulus measures) indicating that they will close their doors once Job Keeper has ceased, many customers, many who have never shopped online before prior to COVID19, will continue to embrace the online shopping wold, now that many have been forced to due to government imposed and self-solation measures. https://bit.ly/3hGzUin #WFH #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness #Unemployment #JobSeeker #JobKeeper #Recession #Underemployment

01.01.2022 Some recent observations I have made in regards to Consultants being unethical, misleading and breaching advertising/copyright/Intellectual Property (IP) laws. Parklane Jewellery is another company in the spot light. One of their Consultants decided to use a picture featuring what looks like Australian actor Chris Hemsworth (again, Chris is a popular choice these days) wearing some wrist bands/jewellery, with the notation implying that these are of the Parklane brand.... I have been on the Parklane Jewellery website, Facebook page and other company online platforms but I am unable to find this same picture anywhere. If a company had the likes of Chris Hemsworth showing off their products or as a Brand Ambassador, I’m sure they would be promoting the heck out of that. But I couldn’t find anything. I contacted Parklane Jewellery for comment, nearly a month ago and still haven’t had a response. Obviously, communication isn’t their strong point. The post still remains published on Facebook today. Too bad if Chris Hemsworth see it and decides to sue the company for using him to promote a product without authorisation if it is a breach of Intellectual Property. #ParklaneJewellery #SideHustle #PartyPlan #DirectSelling #NetworkMarketing #HBB #DirectSales #MLM #HobartMums #WAHM #WNA #WorkFromHome #SmallBusiness #WomenInBusiness #FMWorld #HugoBoss #ParklaneJewelry #chrishemsworth
