25.01.2022 CARING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT Further extending on our exploration of spring and our new garden, our starfish and jellyfish children (0-3) spent the morning using flowers to create beautiful art - watching as we painted how each flower made a different pattern. We also read stories on caring for our environment including about recycling! We used flowers that had been gifted to a staff member ensuring we looked after the flowers and leaves within our environment! Learning outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world

18.01.2022 How lucky are we - we had this beautiful mural done in our foyer this week by @grantmolony and @russmolony. The children loved watching the process and enjoyed creating their own turtles - @russmolony spent time with our children explaining the representation of the aboriginal art in the turtles fins. Stories in paint left behind for the most important ones, the children.

The iceblocks had different flowers, herbs and leaves from our garden and around our environment and is extension of the children’s interest of Spring! The children used sensory skills, fine motor skills, manipulation verbal communication skills imagination and creativity skills all while having fun!
