24.01.2022 What a blow yesterday’s announcement was.. the 23rd November seems so far in the distance.... my heart is broken for our industry more so than the first lockdown and the announcement of the second now to think we could be more than 2 months to returning... I will never understand the reason beauty is one of the last steps to return, for those that don’t know my little salon I am a sole trader and work entirely on my own and am one on one with my clients at all times, I have m...y beautiful friend Teish from @inmyskinau who visits once a fortnight and also has the salon on her own the day that she visits.. this has hit everyone hard but my experience and what I’m feeling right now is how sole traders and small business’s are going to survive after this.. the glimmer of hope I had for a return in a weeks time has been shattered. Im so sorry guys, I miss you all I miss our good little chats and being in my fave space.. each day is different atm one day I feel positive and hopeful the next I feel like digging a hole with a big fat shovel and crawling in it.. the positive thing is that we are well and safe where we are and we are surrounded by a beautiful community - sending love to everyone affected by this horrid virus, all I’m hopeful for Right now is a Christmas with our loved ones and to return work sooner than expected xXx love to you all See more

09.01.2022 Crossing all fingers and toes my beauty gal pals & I can all return to our salons in just less than two weeks.. iv taken a good break from my account the past month I will admit this lockdown we’re still in now has deflated me a lot more than the first time, I feel like iv had to completely switch off from business and take a good break from posting as i was becoming far too anxious in having no control over our situation and being a non essential business. I don’t know what the next two weeks will bring or what the road out looks like but I know this weather has lifted my spirits and positivity... this time in lockdown has made me so greatful for all the little things.
