22.01.2022 Each week our congregation celebrates the Lord's Supper [Communion]. The person leading this time asked the children to come out the front and share in a quiz about why we have the Communion time. Their responses were correct, interesting and sometimes hilarious. One responded to 'how long do we celebrate the Lord's Supper' The question related to the Christian Faith but the child thought in terms of a person. Her response "Til you're dead!" True - but the answer was 'Until Christ returns.

22.01.2022 Not good news for our special service to night. Peter Shurley was to come and sing, play violin and speak. Unfortunately, his son broke a leg yesterday and is in hospital. Peter has to be there. So, we are preparing an alternative program. Peter will be with us on anothher occasion. Ray.

18.01.2022 Numbers were down but what a wonderful service. Simple yet special. Hayley wrote and delivered her 1st communion talk and prayer. Zara Martin gave her amazing testimony of the Lord leading her family out of China and Russia through God's providence and protection and to Australia. Another highlight was a song via U-Tube by David Phelps.

13.01.2022 Our disappointment at not having Peter Shurley with us last night was lessened by Damon Hawkins. He sang and played the piano and Craig gave a message on 'Who is Jesus?' The weather was unpleasant but the Fellowship was wonderful and new folk shared with us. Details regarding next week will be posted later.

09.01.2022 Rick Pullen last Sunday the Speaker, Rick Pullen share with us the Shema of Israel. This is from Deuteronomy 6:4 and that it encourages the people to love God. Next Sun. Rev. R [Bob] Goolsby is leading the service and preaching. Sun 11 .. Music, message from Peter Shurley.

06.01.2022 Live at five! That's our service time and vibrancy. Good singing led by Rachelle. Good music from Craig or Damon. Good speakers each week present to us insights into the heart of God from the Bible. This Sunday our speaker is Dr. David Cook. The venue is the best in Tasmania [maybe even in Australia]. The upper Deck of the Seahorse World where the Cormorant Cafe is situated.

06.01.2022 Come to a safe place and share in warm fellowship, good music, uplifting sing and instructive Bible teaching. Of course, it is at the Beauty Point Baptist Fellowship. We meet at the Cormorant Cafe, upper-deck of Seahorse World, on the wharf, Flinder's St. The speaker for this Sunday is Robert Goolsby from Georgetown.

06.01.2022 Sunday 15t at 5pm our special speaker is Jennie Blackwell. Jennie is part of the Tasmania Baptist Mission team with responsibility for Youth. We look forward to that which she will share both from her mission ministry and God's Word. Remember, we meet at the Cormorant Cafe, upper Deck of the Seahorse World, on the wharf at Beauty Point.

05.01.2022 Another great night.Bob Goolsby spoke on Abraham and his journey from Ur to the Land God promised would be his descendants. We are encouraged by visitors to our services each week. Serena H shared a poem she wrote last year about 'fathers'. Greatly appreciated. Clint is still selling 'sweets' as a fund raiser for a charity. It is a school initiative and his charity is 'Eagles Wings, Zambia, Africa.

04.01.2022 Book next Sunday night to come to our service. Peter Shurley, musician, singer, speaker, recording artist will be with us.

04.01.2022 last night our 'Sunday at 5pm' went exceptionally well. Musician, violinist and speaker, Peter Shurley took us into the heart of worship. Our attendace was increased with folk from other fellowships. Laney, cook with the Cormorant cafe had also made some lovely sandwiched and cake.. the attached photo is from an earlier date but gives a good idea of the pleasure of the evening

03.01.2022 Oh what a night, it was O such a night. Good singing, a good word from Jenna Blackwell and a top prayer time. However, for me the highlight was a children's trio. They sang with a backing tape until the went flat. Like true performers they sang without music - and it was better, seemed to give them confidence and stronger voice. Congratulations Serena, Adam and Haylee. After the service a request for special prayer for a family took place and it was such a blessing.
