24.01.2022 A future for the camping / mobile home communities.

19.01.2022 Folks, All of the very best to you and yours for Christmas and into 2021 This copy text related to the engine room policy for both our Council and our community, as referred to in my previous post. " The draft Community Engagement Policy, just issued for community response, reads that all matters for engagement will be initiated by Council, rather than by our community, and as such will be responded to accordingly by Council. It has a Council controlling feel that needs to be... amended such that community generated initiatives are encouraged, supported and endorsed. An amended policy can & then will become the change agent that ensures positive, meaningful engagement practices are the norm and in turn we can all move forward with mutual respect and optimism." All the best. Tom PS:. Check Council's website for the draft document ... let me know if you are unable to find it.

14.01.2022 The Cartels that run the world ..... extract form Jon Rappoport / The Matrix Revealed Major institutions on this planet that control Military, Money, Energy, Government, Medical, Corporate, Media, and Education are becoming, more and more, global cartels, horizontally integrated across national borders. Richard Bell, another former insider, said to me: People like to assume that money is everything. If you can limit the amount of money the public has, eventually they weaken ...and cave in and they're easier to control. And this is certainly true. But on the other hand, as mega-corporations gain more power and range and markets, you have a clash, because those corporations, which are now cooperating in ways they never have, as a cartel in some respects, want customers for their products. They don't want abject poverty across the board. People have to be able to buy their products. So there is a heavy conflict. It's a conflict between elite bankers [money cartel] and mega-corporations [corporation cartel]. It needs to be resolved through advance planning, over the long term. So now you have these powerful men sitting down and talking in a new way. Other big-time players get involved, too [government, media, energy cartels, for example].

11.01.2022 This email is posted in the interest of our local community traders and customers and is followed by other emails to be posted shortly. Your concerns and comments are most welcome. From: Tom O'Connor Sent: Wednesday, 6 January 2021 6:21 PM... To: Jim Mason Cc: Stephanie Asher Subject: FW: Drysdale library proposed / investment criteria and execution. Good day Cr. Jim, We have a major concern relating to our Council's proposal to build a library / customer service facility nestled right alongside Woolworths’ eastern access. Specifically that the construction process, estimated 6 to 8 months, will most probably cause financial ruin to both the facility’s internal and adjacent SME's, with little if no recourse, either before, during, or after the construction period. And furthermore, that on top of the Covid consequences, this probable scenario can potentially provide Woolworths’ property owners / operators / others with a buyout bonanza at the expense of these struggling local SME's. Do you have any knowledge or awareness of the following a) What encouragement and / or incentives has our Council provided or committed to provide to either or both the property owners and Woolworths ? b) What if any arrangements will be / are to be / have been made with or between the property owners and / or Woolworths and our Council to ensure the future prosperity of the SME’s involved ? c) Has our Council or staff considered, or is intending to consider, alternative locations consistent with the design criteria’s Item 1. Gathering Place ? Eg. refer attached aerial photo of the vacant land Cnr. Eversley & Palmerston Streets. d) Has our Council or staff already indicated to, or will our Council formally confirm an arrangement, with the design draft Architectural group, at this or an alternative location, in the absence of support from the SME’s involved. e) Has the creation of direct access into Woolworths off Hancock Street been considered and if so what are the findings ? f) What additional parking, location/s, and number of have been incorporated ? We would appreciate if you would make time to meet on site prior to talking with our Council’s staff regarding the above matters. Your earliest response would be greatly appreciated. 02.01.2022 This response relates to the initial email to Cr Mason dated 6 January 2021 just posted. From: Jim Mason Sent: Thursday, 7 January 2021 11:39 AM To: Tom O'Connor... Cc: Stephanie Asher; Councillor Support; Trent Sullivan Subject: RE: Drysdale library proposed / investment criteria and execution. Dear Tom, Thank you for this email below which I received last evening. This proposal has been put out for community consultation, and for consideration of feedback I am not sure whether this is still active and I have arranged for an officer to contact you. The proposed library has been in the pipeline for some time as has the relocation of the senior citizen’s centre, and the development of the site. I am aware that officers have generally consulted stakeholders, and Ward Councillors I cannot answer all of your specific questions at the moment but expect they will be answered by officers shortly. I will continue to monitor these matters. Meanwhile, Best regards, Jim Jim Mason AM Councillor Chair Portfolios: Aboriginal Affairs; Environment; Multicultural Affairs; Rural & Coastal; Shared Trails
