19.01.2022 Getting made redundant while on maternity leave seems like a bit of a but unfortunately, it’s far from unusual. In fact, - have reported experiencing discrimination in the workplace when they requested or took parental leave. There are so many stories about women taking parental leave only to be told that they don’t have a job when they get back. ... It’s a story that has cropped up a few times in our space recently with women detailing how their bosses called them in during maternity leave only to tell them the company was , And the heaviest part about it is it’s completely legal if it’s a genuine redundancy, meaning your position no longer exists within the company. So what’s the answer here? How do women make the decision to take parental leave and enjoy their time connecting with their new baby if they are constantly worried or anxious about whether or not they have a job to return to. I’d love to hear your experiences taking parental leave were you welcomed back to your company or were there issues? For me, I decided while pregnant to take the leap into business ownership so I could have that flexibility and choose my own hours. 18.01.2022 Last night rocked my socks off! Look I know I say this every month, but last night's event was AMAZING! I am continually humbled and left in awe by the truly inspirational women who attend these events and share their stories. I honestly feel together we are changing the world!... 15.01.2022 The incredible Kim Hope has been a financial adviser for almost a decade and is passionate about educating women and getting rid of the "don't worry your pretty little head" mentality around taking control of our finances and making educated decisions. An important lesson all female Entrepreneurs need to learn and this lady is on a mission to help us not have to do it the hard way.
