07.01.2022 Listen to our volunteer bell ringers ring the bells today, from 12pm - 1pm! Our Bell Ringers are part of the St Martins Society of Change Ringers. Which was established in 2000 to provide regular ringing at the Bell Tower. Since then they have trained many new ringers and welcomed visiting ringers from around the world. It usually takes around six months to learn the basics of the art of Change Ringing, and most of this time is spent learning to control the bell. The skills required include co-ordination, a sense of rhythm (but not brute strength) and long-term commitment.
