25.01.2022 Merry Christmas from all of us at The Berry Show. We hope you and your family and friends enjoy a safe and joyful holiday season and are able to enjoy some sensational seasonal produce from the wonderful agricultural producers across our region, the state and Australia. We thank you for your support and friendship in 2020. We look forward to sharing a bright 2021 with you. Kind regards, The Berry Show Committee & Auxilary
25.01.2022 To our Berry Show members, friends, sponsors, supporters and patrons, We write to you in uncertain times but with much hope for the future. After a horrifying start to 2020 in NSW and the cancellation of our 132nd Berry Show due to the threat of bushfires, we have seen many of our agricultural shows across NSW, Australia and the world also having to cancel due to the threat of Covid19. While the near future remains uncertain, we at the Berry Show Society are determined that ...the ‘show will go on’ well into the future. As you may have seen in the Town Crier, Berry Show Society memberships for 2021 are now available. For any of our 2019/2020 members that renew their memberships for the 2020/2021 year, you will receive an additional members entry ticket in 2021. This additional entry armband is for you to pass on to family and friends so that they too can enjoy the Greatest Show in Town a tradition that has been an integral part of Berry for more than 130 years. We remain optimistic but not certain what will transpire over the next 6 months but we are continuing to plan for the Berry Show next year as we have done for the past 133 years. The show will no doubt look different to previous years in 2021 but we will try to be prepared for any eventuality. For all members, our AGM will be held at the Berry Showground Pavilion on Tuesday August 11th at 7.30pm. Depending on changing Covid19 regulations this will either be in person or via Zoom. We will publish a formal notice in the coming days. We would like to acknowledge that this is a change from our usual venue at the Berry Presbyterian Church Hall. Please be aware that you must be a financial member in order to vote at the AGM. Please see our membership form online if you wish to renew or become a member, http://berryshow.org.au//20/07/2021-Membership-renewal.pdf In these uncertain times the Berry Show Society is also trying to utilise electronic communication as much as possible so if you are a member and haven’t already or are unsure, please send your current email address to our Show Secretary Catherine, [email protected] If we have your email address and the AGM does proceed via Zoom then we will be able to email you an invitation. Each year we see our community of Berry come together to celebrate our local agriculture, produce, arts, crafts, sportspeople and entertainers at our Berry Show. Our committee takes 12 months to bring this Greatest Show in Town to you. While we may not have had the greatest year for coming together physically we continue to be united in our love and acknowledgement of the importance of local agriculture in our global world. We thank you all for your ongoing support and we send the best to you and your families and friends across the state, the country and overseas. Warm regards, The Berry Show Committee & Auxiliary
23.01.2022 The 2020 Berry Show Gala Ball, held last night at the Berry Showground Pavilion, provided an opportunity for locals and visitors to gather, talk, laugh and enjoy each others company. The 2020 Berry Showgirl entrants Molly Fishpool, Ainslie Wearne & Emily Edwards enjoyed their lap of the main arena in the Red Mazda convertibles, they shared their life stories with us onstage as we got to know them better and we all enjoyed the auction by Peter Harris and dancing into the morn...ing with Stella & Sam. It takes a dedicated team of volunteers and sponsors to put on a night like last night and we thank them all. Special thanks to our Berry Showgirl major sponsors The Waddell Family, Nowra Mazda and 94.9 Power FM. This year we also pay tribute to our new entertainment sponsor of the Berry Show Gala Ball - Curran Plumbing. An additional thank you must go to those who attended and those who supported, including our local RFS members and partners who came along to enjoy the night. Congratulations to our 2020 Berry Showgirl Molly Fishpool. Molly will go onto represent Berry Show Society at the 2020 Zone 2 Final hosted by Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association on February 22nd. Thank you to our wonderful community for your continued support, as you will see from the photos the smiles were genuine the whole showground over.
20.01.2022 Happy Australia Day from the Berry Showground! Thank you to the Rotary Club of Berry for putting on such a special event, performers and speaker Heather MacDonald. Wishing you a safe and cool Australia Day wherever you are.
20.01.2022 Today our 2020 Berry Showgirl, Molly Fishpool, has travelled to Hawkesbury to compete in the Zone 2 Final. We wish Molly all the best and hope she enjoys the experience and makes some new show friends along the way.
19.01.2022 Our Berry Show Committee, Auxiliary, Volunteers, Sponsors and Members are made up farming families, small business owners, tradespeople, young families, retirees, firefighters and professionals. On behalf of our community we send our love out to all of those impacted by the bush fires in our region, both directly and indirectly, at this time. We are not isolated here in Berry, we are part of the show family. Our Group and our Zone of Shows stretches from Sydney’s north out t...o Camden and Moss Vale in the west and down the coast to Milton. We share similar values to our farming friends down in Cobargo and Bega. Our extended show family is suffering greatly at this time but we know they also share our resilience and resolve. We wish you a safe New Year and one filled with community love and support. From our town to yours - The Berry Show Committee and Auxiliary See more

14.01.2022 This coming Saturday evening January 18th, Berry Show Society will be hosting our Berry Show Gala Ball at the Berry Showground Pavilion and we invite everyone in our community to attend. On this night we will celebrate and get to know the three young women who have been participating in the Berry Showgirl competition in 2020. In a first for our town, the Berry Showgirl for 2020 will be announced on this night. In 2020 our Berry Showgirl entrants are Ainslie Wearne, Emily Edwards & Molly Fishpool. Saturday will be a celebration of our community and also this year, at the suggestion of one of our entrants, a thank you to our local Broughton Vale Berry Rural Fire Brigade. The Brigade and their partners will attend as a thank you from our Berry Show Society. The Berry Showground Pavilion will come alive this Saturday with fun, friends, delicious local food by Salmon & Co, live entertainment from local favourites Stella Girlz and some other special surprises. 10.01.2022 **UPDATE** Facebook has helped us and removed all the fake pages and events that were in breach of our Intellectual Property. Hopefully they don't reappear but remember to keep your eyes peeled for imitations from here on in. Have a lovely night/day. Kind regards. To our followers, Unfortunately someone has set up fake accounts under our name. Please do not share or like the Berry Show 2021 page, it is fake and they have created multiple facebook events like 133rd Berry Show... and Berry Show 2021. They are using our logos and other details to make themselves seem legitimate. We have now created an event linked to this page. The cover photo is images from our 2019 Show. We ask that you please unlike or unfollow the other events. As next years show is much smaller than previous years with limited tickets available we are creating this 'Facebook event' just for exhibitors and our local community. Kind regards, your Berry Show Committee. See more

08.01.2022 We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to our wonderful sponsors for their support! The Berry Show would simply not be possible without their generosity. Special thanks to those that have given for many years, those that have increased their sponsorship this year and for those new sponsors whom we have welcomed in 2020. Please support these businesses as they do us.
