20.01.2022 Congratulations to the Ladies Division 2 Pennants team who WON their final yesterday. They played against Merriwa at Warnbro (yep, you are reading that correctly - crazy!). The ladies fought hard all day on a very fast green, with the wind blowing and near horizontal rain being blown in despite the covered green. It was a really gritty win. So proud of you all! Thanks to Allan Hornby who got us there and back safely in a hired bus. You did a brilliant job and we really app...reciate our stress free transport. Thanks to his "roadie" Ray Loran too! Weather permitting both the Div 1 & 2 teams will play for the Pennant flag today. Div 1 against Scarborough at Osborne Park and Div 2 against Warnbro at Manning. Good luck Ladies! Angela Loran Ladies Captain

16.01.2022 Motobility Ladies Over 60's Singles Warwick ladies performed well. Three Warwick ladies entered the Motobility Ladies Over 60's this week; Sue Hinge, Trish O'Connell and Gail Davies. Sue and Trish played their sectional games at Osborne Park on Wednesday and acquitted themselves very well, unfortunately neither progressed to the knockout rounds. Gail played at Morley in the sectional games and won through to the knockout rounds at Belmont City Bowling Club. Gail played Sue Hogg and beat her (21-20) in a ripper game, and then came up against Noelene Abe. Gail once again played very well losing to Noelene (12-21). Congratulations to all three ladies, there were some great bowls played, and some exhausted bowlers afterwards.

13.01.2022 Something a little light hearted to get us going for the year. 11.01.2022 Last night we said farewell to our ever popular bar manager over the past 5 years, Bree Wilson. Bree recently qualified as a Nursing Sister and is now taking up a position in that industry. She has always carried out her duties with a very happy countenance and Warwick Bowling Club will be sad to see her go. We wish Bree every success in the future and urge her to come and see us whenever she can. She is shown here with her proud Grandma Margaret.
