24.01.2022 I took a hiatus for a few weeks to Byron Bay and then Thailand! I have returned fresh and ready to finally get cranking. I think we often forget to stop and recharge our batteries..and as a cook I need the inspiration from street food stalls, restaurants and other cookies I meet on footpaths, beaches and food vans. We are lucky it is easy to travel and recharge our creativity levels. Stay tuned as soon as I work out this online booking system we are all a go go

11.01.2022 We made the paper on the weekend ...regional Victoria hanging in there and adapting to an ever changing landscape. Fingers crossed this years fire season takes it easy on us and cuts us a break. Some great things happening out there...I’m secretly excited!

06.01.2022 Classes starting this Friday 17th...Gaol Food -the story and the characters. Two sessions 12.30 and 2.30pm. Book on line at The BiG house. More classes being loaded up this week. Private classes available.

05.01.2022 Love this...Kati on my recent vacay to Koh Pha-ngan showing me how to roll sticky rice and banana in a banana leaf. I always take cooking classes when I travel but I like to just hang out and cook what they actually cook at home not the structured tourist cooking class. I asked Kati if I could just hang out with her for the day. She thought that was weird but went along with it...we had an awsome day just yakking, shopping...her family dropping in...we made these for the divers who were out for the day on her hubbys dive boat. I just love the attention to detail:-)
