17.01.2022 We'd love you to join us at The Big Table or live on Facebook this Sunday as we reach the final instalments in our series, 'Big Words, Bigger God'. This week we'll be sharing on the Love of God. Karl Bath said that 'love is both the nature of God's activity and the activity of His nature' - the essence of every one of His attributes. We're going to attempt to wrap some words around the indescribable. No biggie We'd love to see you in person or online, from 10am this Sunday.

We'll be talking about sharing the gospel with family and friends who haven't encountered the love and grace of Jesus towards them and building on one of our six thoughts for 2021 from last week: 'Be an inviter'. Really hope you can join us this Sunday, 10am.

15.01.2022 Tell your story Tuesday JANE How/when did you meet Jesus personally?... I became Jesus’ ‘friend’ when I was 8 years old. I was already curious about what it meant to be ‘born again’ and when the gospel story was presented at kid’s club it made sense to me. I was ready to know Jesus for myself, so I told my friend’s mum that I wanted to be Jesus’ friend and she prayed with me. As I grew up, If I ever doubted that the decision I made was valid, she would remind me of that day. What are you learning in your faith now? It might sound like a basic life skill, but I’m learning not to freak out when things are less than ideal. And it seems like a God thing to me. I’m also excited to be starting to learn about spiritual gifts.

10.01.2022 Tell your story Tuesday HEDLEY How/ when did you meet Jesus personally?... Papua New Guinea in 1985 is where life started for me and it was my parents faith in Jesus which had taken them to their work there. I’d heard all about Jesus from a young age. At 7, my mum explained how to pray to become a Christian, and so I did. Looking back I think I made that decision partly because I wanted to please my mum, and partly because a fear of death/being ‘left behind.’ I got baptised at age 12 because again, I felt like it was the last thing left to do- to ‘tick all the boxes to get to heaven’. It took me until I was 15 to work out that you can’t actually earn your way to heaven, which is why I always felt unsure if I’d ever reached full Christian status. I felt an urge to make a personal decision to accept the fact that what Jesus had done for me was enough and to follow after Him, however that may look. It was so freeing to realise that there wasn’t any more I had to do; it wasn’t about ‘doing’ or keeping God happy or others pleased, He just wanted (and wants) that actual relationship. I guess the people pleaser in me could start to live my life with it’s worth and purpose found in my relationship with Jesus. What are you learning in your faith now? I’m learning more about His grace and freedom still, as He continues to seek to be more involved in all I do day-to-day. Rather than plan every detail and then have a contingency plan in mind He wants me to bring everything to Him and hand it over. Easier said than done: yep! Grateful He is patient with this slow learner.

09.01.2022 For those who were keen to get a copy of the 50 promises sheet that was given out this morning, here they are. If you want a pdf, you can PM me.

07.01.2022 Yes! We are on this Sunday! It's a First Sunday at City Farm...WITH MASKS! We'll be continuing our series, SOLID, by diving into the first chapter of 2 Peter with Sarah Oliva.... We'd love to see you there at 10am - with a mask on (raises the bar on recognising who you're talking to!).

03.01.2022 November is a month with five Sundays so, as is our rhythm, we won't be gathering this weekend. We'd love you to join us at 10am - more about that next week!
