25.01.2022 The Big Yellow Van had Ashley stay with us for a full 5 days, abseiling, canyoning, climbing, hiking and swimming, we did it all and showed him some beautiful lookouts and explored a glow worm tunnel in between all the action! We also did some more research on new places to eat!

20.01.2022 Annie and Tom came to stay with BYV for a good 5 days! We climbed at a variety of crags and discovered a new beautiful roof at the underworld, such a spectacular spot! Annie sent her first 4 climbs..ever! We also avoided the strong winds and explored a dry canyon which had some challenging abseils!

16.01.2022 The BYV has set up camp at Arapiles! A mix of multi, trad, sport, bouldering, slacklining, running into old friends and making new ones!

16.01.2022 We are going to arapiles, while we are gone, our good friends are in the house and we have a room to spare! Offered: private room for short term stay. Hi everybody! We have a lovely house in blackheath full with character; books, philosophy, old classics, various hiking, canyon and climbing guides and an awesome old 70s couch, so comfy to read and relax! In addition we have a lounge with a fireplace,TV, DVDs and stereo. The spare room has drawers for your things. Help yoursel...f to the kitchen; usual fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. Many cooking utensils and baking dishes! Bathroom has shower and bath! One toilet in the house. In the shed we have a table tennis table and darts! Bus stop is right outside, 15 minute walk to Blackheath Main Street and cafes, and close to beautiful walks and lookout. $90 per night, single/couple whatever. Can organise additional sleeping area if required for lesser cost. We also have a big canvas tent out the back, full access to the house for $20. See more

07.01.2022 It was snowing in the Blue Mountains so we ran away to the North where the sun shines, the people are friendly and the climbs scare you half to death!

04.01.2022 Hey Dudes and Dudedettes! It's been great weather in the Blueys and we've been exploring! Check out our latest photos from Mount Boyce, Mount York and Bell Super Crag! We are discovering more classic trad masterpieces and some new gnarly tendon snappers every day, as well as exploring a range of the less travelled canyons, one with a jaw dropping finish! We even managed to squeeze in a high-line or two, without neglecting our ping pong table. Peace, Love and Carabiners! - The Big Yellow Van.

04.01.2022 So we have Johnny staying with us at the moment. Today we went for an epic at Perry's Lookdown. Forced our way up Slipstream *** (23, 22, 23, 22, 23) with a mix of swearing and meditative deep breathing. An amazing day of run outs, questionable rock, 50m pitches, unbelievably brazen sandbagging and heroic positions. Just another day at Big Yellow Van!
