24.01.2022 Thanks everyone for the awesome feedback on our soft launch of Glow. Heres a glimpse of our music video in production. A huge shout-out to BJ and DanDan Nebe from Star Audio Studio, who expertly recorded and edited the track. We were humbled to work with such stalwarts of the Australian music scene thank you. Also big thanks to Andrew Beck from Damien Gerard Studios who beautifully mixed and mastered the track great work!

"Love the rock vibe of this song and how it seems to give no f*cks. This is a good road trip song." "Loved the way the song begins as it sets a great tone for the listener and engages them in the song. Overall the music, voice and song are superb and worth an album release! NEW SINGLE RELEASE GLOW A ROCK ANTHEM FINDING A POSITIVE IN THE PANDEMIC Brisbane rock outfit The Black Creek Band is stoked to announce the release of their latest single, Glow, a powerful rock anthem which finds a positive in the current Covid-19 pandemic. Theres plenty of challenges out there, particularly in our industry explains vocalist Richard Smith, however we were keen to use some down time to write about what positives we all might be able take out of this situation. With driving four-on-the-floor rhythms, huge guitar riff and larger than life vocals, Glow is a massive song of its times. Guitarist Ric Lynam says in early March we were seeing shocking scenes from around the world, but there were also amazing sights of whole communities coming together on their balconies in solidarity and compassion Glow is a tribute to those people and the front line workers they were supporting. The single and original music video has been released on YouTube, with formal launch on all streaming services on Friday 5 June 2020.

16.01.2022 A geeky muso shout out to our "conductor" on drums, Brett Saal. In the recent studio session, the engineer asked us to play our song WITHOUT the click track ... so we obliged. When we finished he turned around and said we had only deviated within 1.5 bpm over a 4 minute song!... Hows that for tight solid drumming ??? - TBCB

11.01.2022 What an awesome weekend for The Black Creek Band! Firstly, thank YOU. All you guys who came out on a Friday and Saturday night to see us and an amazing foray of bands play at some iconic local venues. Tristian Davids, Cheap Whiskey, Blue Steam and Upsize. Thank you for bringing your incredible talent and support. You guys had the crowd pumping all night :). Also, the Prince of Wales, thanks for your hospitality and opportunity to play at your venue. Lastly, but by no means t...he least, Karen from MMK Music Promotions. It's no small feat what you do. You brought it all together and made the night possible.
