07.01.2022 We weren’t open long before having to close due to COVID-19, but tomorrow at 6pm, after a long long lockdown, The Blacksmith is back. We will be operating at a reduced capacity, and will be taking walk ins only. Can’t wait to see all our awesome locals and regulars after all this time. Cheers!

06.01.2022 The Blacksmith now has happy hour! Every single day between 4pm-7pm, including half price tap beer and half price basic spirits.

05.01.2022 As many other hospitality businesses, our bars need your support! Our venues (The Blacksmith Bar, Katuk and Maeve Fox) are still open and do not have any current restrictions on trading, as we are all licensed less than 500 people and have no current plans to close. We will however be dictated by the government and their advice to hospitality businesses in the coming days/weeks. As well as the already rigorous hygiene practices in place at our venues, we have also implemente...d extra measures at this time including increased cleaning in high traffic areas, posters showing the correct hand washing procedure, staff washing hands more frequently and more regular cleaning and sanitising of surfaces. While it is still determined safe to do so, please support us, and other small hospitality businesses where you can. While we might not be kissing, hugging or shaking hands.. we still have our usual smiling staff, good wine, beer, spirits and cocktails and will continue serving you for as long as we are able. We have some perishable items on hand including all of our tap beer. Therefore, we’re selling $2 pots and $5 pints at the bars (while stocks last.) Our locals discount (25%) also still applies at all the bars during this time as well. Thank you for your support and hope to see you all through the bars soon.
