24.01.2022 And just like that its time for our annual two weeks holiday with tomorrow as our last day! We are closing for some much, much needed r & r and our lovely chef Deepak and wife/waitress Dipika are heading back to Nepal to get married! We will be back before you know it!

16.01.2022 Bula everyone! As you might have noticed we have been a bit quiet on social media the past few days, as we arrived to Fiji on Sunday night for our long awaited family holiday. After we landed, news of the mandatory 2 week self isolation when we arrive home soon reached us and automatically we started to freak out - what will we do about work!! Being a family run business and all of us being away together was not ideal! With all of this uncertainty we are just going to tr...y and enjoy the rest of our time away as a family and when we arrive home on Sunday make some decisions about what to do with The Fast Fox Lithgow and The Blue Fox. We will keep everyone updated as soon as we know more! Special thanks to our lovely friends back in Lithgow who are already grocery shopping for us so we have a little something when we get home! 15.01.2022 Can you believe its been exactly six months since the fire? This photo reminds us that there is always a light at the end of every tunnel and were nearly there Still forever thankful to the firefighters and emergency services who helped save our building from the fire which started in the backyard of the neighbouring house. We have decided to close our pop up restaurant due to the restrictions and focus all of our energy on The Fast Fox Lithgow and getting ready to move home once the rebuild is finished. Get ready for Summer 2020 at The Blue Fox, its going to be wild!

14.01.2022 Hey everyone! Holly here - We are all safely back from Fiji and in 14 day self isolation. Wow - how quickly everything has evolved, we feel like we have arrived home to another country- Bushfires, floods and now Covid 19. When will we all catch a break! Feeling sorry for all of our fellow businesses in town and across regional areas which are struggling and feeling hopeless; But health and safety of course comes first and if we all stick together we can get through this - sho...p local as much as you can! We are currently racking our brains about what to do with both of our businesses. We are struggling with how best to move forward- open or close? And as the laws keep changing so quickly its hard to predict where we will be in two weeks time when we can safely open again. We would love some help from you all! The current law is that we can only provide takeaway and home delivery.. So if this doesnt change in the next two weeks, what would you like to see from us?! Home cooked meals? Desserts? Cocktails? Wine/beer? Name your idea and we will take it all on board! Lots of love and wash your hands! X

Our builders from @regionalwestconstructions sent us this photo today - the scaffolding is up and the roof is hopefully coming off next Monday! Its been 158 days since the fire and we are so happy to see the rebuild of our beloved restaurant begin! Will post some photos tomorrow of the progress inside!
