12.01.2022 Hartz Mountains National Park is open again! Sustainable Timbers Tasmania have completed the roadworks and access is open. This is a fantastic shot taken by @po...rthuoncottages of a snow covered Hartz Mountains and Hartz Lake. Weather forecast for snow on the mountains today and for below freezing conditions Saturday and Sunday on the peak. Not great weather for visitors to the park at the moment unless you are totally prepared, not much snow predicted either Please be aware, be prepared and need the safety warnings. Arve Road beyond the Hartz Mountains National Park turn-off will remain closed until further notice due to road works. There is currently no access to the following walks - Mt Picton, Farmhouse Creek and Huon Track. We have accommodation available for up to 16 people in four bedrooms, so it’s not over crowded and has a great friendly vibe. We are able to assist you in finding work within walking distance. Rent is $ 100 per person per week...
