20.01.2022 With the new announcement regarding lockdown in Victoria, taking care of our mental health is extremely important. This is the perfect time to invest in yourself! As a life coach I am extremely passionate about helping people lead mentally healthier lives, and will be offering my services to anyone that needs them during these restrictions. Sessions will be run via Zoom as all my coaching sessions have been through this time. If you need help with stress management, anxiety, or any other issues that you may be dealing with, please don't hesitate to DM me.

18.01.2022 There two absolute legends keeping the conversation going about mental health! @hulksmashfood @kingjaseeats I couldn't be more grateful for your support! Mental health is not a "quick fix" nor is it something to take for granted. Rather it is like being an elite level sports person.....every day you work on your craft.....every day you find ways to improve, to get better.....you talk to people that can help you improve, find new skills sets.... Mental health is like that......it requires consistent effort, sometimes with little to no reward.....but the rewards are there, you need to allow yourself the time to grow stronger, appreciate the little things, and pat yourself on the back for the wins along the way.....but most importantly....Love yourself and forgive yourself throughout the times you are down. You will grow stronger, you will see beauty.....You will have bad days, but you'll also have amazing ones as well!!! Please tag someone, each out to someone, call someone....do anything....but take a moment right now to check in on someone....or check in on yourself. See more

17.01.2022 Please take the time to read what this legend has written!! Reposted from @hulksmashfood - World Mental Health Day Last night @kingjaseeats and I attended an amazing Mental Health Chat hosted by @jimmysburgers from @easeys and @agejp from @theblueprintinitiative on the rooftop at @easeys.at.theemerson, in that short two hour chat I learnt more about Men’s Mental Health and myself in general than I have over my entire life’s journey. Although this post originally started... out as a @tribe submission that I didn’t get, I also learnt there’s more important things in life than money and one of those things is being truly happy within yourself. Mental Illness isn’t Racist, Sexist, Ageist, it doesn’t care about your Social Standing or how much money you make, it’s something we all deal with every day and it has to be constantly worked on to be improved just like everything else in life. Today on World Mental Health Day I make the @heartonmysleeve pledge to have a real conversation when I’m not ok today and every day as well as asking those around me if they’re ok. Do yourself a favour fellas and head over to @theblueprintinitiative, they’re doing some truly amazing work Creating Mentally Fit Blueprints as well as providing Teaching Tools to battle Mental Health Issues. Stay positive and remember to work on your Mental Health every day. #heartonmysleeve #pledge #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealth #menshealth #areuok #areyouok #wndrr #health #depression #talk #theblueprint #theblueprintinitiative #mentallyfit #teaching #teachingtools #blueprint - #resilience #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters See more

16.01.2022 MENTAL HEALTH TIP: Where are you spending your energy? Often at times when our mental health is suffering, it's because we allow ourselves to "overspend" our energy on things that don't give us a positive return. Recognising where you spend your energy and spending it on things that give you a positive return, whilst recognising when you are "overspending" in areas that don't, is a great way tool to use to prevent your mental health suffering. Spend some time today looking at what does, and does not give you positive energy.....and if you find yourself with a lack of positive energy....take some time to invest in yourself and something that will give you a positive return!

14.01.2022 MENTAL HEALTH TIP: Take some time out of your day today to recognise how you're feeling at any given moment. Are you stressed? Tired? Trying to do too much at once? The more we try to "push through"....."hustle"......"grind"... We can actually cause more damage and be less productive. It can increase our stress levels and prevent us from seeing things with a clear headspace. Mindfulness is not just about "breathing", it is also our ability to recognise what is happening in an...y given moment, stop what we are doing and create an action plan to help us succeed and achieve our desired result. In doing this, we are able to decrease our stress levels, improve our performance and therefore our mental health as well! See more

07.01.2022 Did you know Art Therapy is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety, increase self confidence and value, manage behaviors and process feelings just to name a few amazing benefits!! This is a finger painting activity I did with my wife and 3 year old son after practising some mindfulness meditation first! If you're stuck on the holidays for ideas to keep the family entertained....try this little fun activity as a whole family. ... All you need to do is take some time out to meditate first, then get creative and allow your subconscious to take over. Find your inner child!!

05.01.2022 PLEASE READ: to read the remainder of this, head to @tanyaalijani - Thank you for your honesty and beauty within this message!! Repost @tanyaalijani I know I’ve been off the grid for a while, but since it’s mental health month- when it should really be mental health month/day everyday- I wanted to share this. The reason it’s with this photo is because this is an important day for me & for my growth, to you it might not mean anything but to me it was a catalyst for so many th...ings after. I was so used to seeing and trying to be ‘perfect’ & fitting into what I thought I had to be, and doing what I thought I was only meant for, that this day actually made me realise how incredibly screwed up my perception was & how many wounds I had to heal. I thought I was body confident but woah did something trigger deep inside me. I realised I wanted things for all of the wrong reasons. I was forced to come up against everything I thought I knew, and I had to decide if I wanted to stay as I was especially after a Dr Joe Dispenza weeklong or did I want to say fuck this, did I want to know what it meant to truly love myself. If you have been friends with me on Instagram for a while you know how open I have always been and I think it’s more important now more than ever to be and express who I really am. The last year has been one of the hardest but most incredible years of my life. I don’t mean on a physical level, yes shit hit the fan multiple times but I mean on a soul level. I just couldn’t pretend to want or live life like I always had. I was forced to look long and hard at myself and ask who am I? What the hell am I here for? Is this all there is? Is it even worth it? If you have ever felt like this please keep reading. For so long I wanted the wrong things because of what I was conditioned to believe was the best life for me, I don’t blame anyone or anything for this because when we blame someone or something outside of ourselves we are giving our power away. We are all creators, we were just blind to it, asleep while we are awake...(cont'd) See more

02.01.2022 Another great morning talking with the crew at Downer Group about mental health!

Feel free to spread the word! #Repost @craftercise (@get_repost) Dance with a Difference for 5-12yr olds Thursdays 4:15pm-5pm @craftercise. Starting Thursday 30 January. Call 0400232224 for more details or to register.

02.01.2022 Given that this week is National Men's Mental Health week, it was an honour to have the opportunity to talk the amazing people at Downer Group who are the leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand. Mental health affects all of us, which is why it is so important to continue to talk and check in with those around you. 1 in 5 people suffer from some form of mental health illness. The statistics also show that men make up an average of six out of every eight suicides every single day in Australia! So for all the men out there.....remember.....you're stronger for talking....not for "manning up" and getting over it!
