21.01.2022 This will be the new normal for a while mask up everyone from Monday, we will be open but just remember we don’t work in the rain, this weekend is amazing sunshine and blue skies come down if you can and enjoy a couple of days mask free, Monday/Tuesday is looking wet so more than likely we will be closed early next week for a couple of days break.

20.01.2022 Further info... other posts and comments and info about these two people of interest, l think everyone should publicly post sightings of them to warn others.

20.01.2022 Pretty pic of the ramp

10.01.2022 A warning for dog owners, in the past we have had some problems with two individuals / locals unfortunately, who say they are working for parks protecting the hooded plovers! These two people DO NOT work for parks or the nature park they are menaces and have repeatedly harassed the locals on the beach walking their dogs, it has now been brought to light that they have threatened dog owners again and now baits have been discovered where they have been on the beach in Ventnor!... Please be very careful as one dog has nearly died from taking the baits, and just barely saved by the vet luckily! A very distressing time for the owners, please walk your dog on a lead everyone so you can make sure they can’t eat a bait. If you happen to see these individuals acting aggressively towards you or others please help by filming the bad behaviour and reporting them to police. The baits are bread packed with bait and covered in cheese! I’m sure a lot of our locals know exactly who lm talking about. Please help as a community and watch out for each other and all of the fur babies. These people are known to the police and have previously been charged and banned from beaches, looks like they haven’t learnt their lesson! See more

05.01.2022 Rig to leave Wednesday...

04.01.2022 Just a quick update for customers regarding June 1st lifting of restrictions, l have been going over the new guidelines for returning to normal service but unfortunately the guidelines state this does not apply to us as all venues need to be able to offer bookings and table service indoors or outdoors only and strict numbers and distances between tables. We have never offered this and cannot do so as it is impossible for us to monitor and control this at the Boatramp, we are... only allowed to continue the way we are operating at present, which is full menu on takeaway. No tables and chairs will be returned at this stage. I am sorry to all our much valued customers for the inconvenience but it is for your safety we have to adhere to all Covid 19 safety guidelines. The weather is not looking great on Monday 1st June at this stage it’s wet up to Wednesday 3rd, but looks ok for the long weekend at this stage. We hope to see all your happy faces again soon xx Caroline, Darren and family See more
